Washinton Post Headline Op-Ed On SCOTUS As Vacuous And Empty As Interstellar Space

I have to say, the Washington Post description of the Supreme Court's latest term is one horse-drawn buggy full of Amish manure. Can you belief the headline? "Ignoring speed bumps" they are calling it.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/07/02/supreme-court-term-roundup-conservative-majority/

It is equivalent to an article on the outbreak of the Civil War being headlined, "Sectional Friction Leads To Trial Separation of US States." Or, "German Jews Experiencing Life-Style Changes Since Kristallnacht."

This is why I rarely read this mealy-mouthed ad-pandering poop sheet, with their counterproductive balance and objectivity, which slices the guts out of the living history we are experiencing in these dangerous times. Yeah, tell us all about "Speed bumps."

How about a Supreme Court "which runs over their wheelchair bound neighbor with their Lexus SUV, and continues backing up over them and forward again to make sure they are dead?"  Anyone who dismisses this comparison as hyperbole is invited to attend my upcoming class series called "Drunk Proctology," a practical guide for coping with anxiety while having your head up your sigmoid.

This WaPo article is an example of what is wrong with the liberal news media in the age of Trump. They are more concerned with the "optics" of appearing non-partisan and measured than in covering reality, so as not to sound extreme. Consequently, they publish watered down goop, not even fit for a "neighborhood watch" monthly newsletter reporting on where you can recycle your empty cans of paint. (With the exception of when they serialize bombshell books by certain authors who won't be "watered down.)"

The lack of a seriously intentioned opposition press is one of our worst weaknesses. They are mostly timid to the point of absurdity. I've written about this before. The opposition press is hedging their bets just in case Trump comes back to power, and they don't want to upset him too much. "He may be a threat to our existence, but he sells, let's not burn our bridges" is the unstated belief.

Sorry for my little rant here. I saw the headline and tried to throw my tablet out the window, but it was plugged in and charging at the time.
