Hello.
My name is Lance Rosen. I am 62 years old, married, and Jewish. I was born and raised in Philadelphia. I graduated from Lincoln
High School and attended Temple, studying Political Science. I have been a sales
representative, insurance agent, and caregiver by profession.
I
identify as a lifelong Democrat in the tradition of Franklin Roosevelt and John
F. Kennedy. My economic outlook is rooted in my study of Alexander Hamilton,
and his followers, including Henry Clay and Abraham Lincoln.
My wife Martha and I have been involved in grass roots politics and were political fundraisers off
and on over a 35 year period. We were privileged to know and work with several
prominent veterans of the African American Civil Rights Movement who were part
of the inner circle of Dr. Martin Luther King. Because of our background in
History and Political Science, we have taught classes informally on a variety of
subjects and have written hundreds of articles and essays on my Political Blog,
“The Rosen Report”, -therosenreport.blogspot.com Much of our personal political history is chronicled there.
The
subject of this report on Russia’s plan to use the “Alt-Right” as a violent
disrupter to interfere with our elections is based on our involvement in issues
related to Russia since 1983. We were involved as private citizens with a think tank
which addressed US Policy toward the Soviet Union and later the Russian
Federation for many years.
Since my disengagement from active Politics in 2015, I have had no affiliation with
any organization, news service, government, or educational institution and have
been entirely independent.
This
report is based on news sources from credible mainstream press, some subjective
insights on my part, and some based on firsthand experiences from when we were politically active, when the issues of Russia were front and center. We are not
making any predictions about the election, what Donald Trump might or might not
do, and what in specific Vladimir Putin will do in the near term. We do lay out
a couple of possible scenarios as worst cases, mainly to raise the level of
awareness and alarm for those in positions of responsibility.
What we hope to accomplish with this report is to add to the understanding by
Americans that many of what we now know to be “Domestic Terror” groups, rooted
in racist and Neo-Confederate White Supremacist ideology, are directly or
indirectly influenced by Russian Intelligence operatives, whose intention
appears to be the unleashing of both racial conflict, and “Left vs Right”
violence, in order to spread chaos in the United States. Therefore, we bring to your attention these facts and raise the question of whether
“White Nationalist armed militias” are not only domestic terror threats, but
are under influence of a hostile foreign power which has a track record of
interfering with our elections, and represents a serious national security
threat.

Part I - Introduction
It is a matter of proven fact that Vladimir
Putin and Russian Military Intelligence acted in a variety of ways to interfere
with and intervene into the US Presidential Election of 2016, for the purpose
of electing Donald Trump. There are no thoughtful or informed people in or out
of government who would argue otherwise.
The Russian leadership has laid the groundwork
for a new plan to disrupt the US Election and unleash chaos in 2020. It is far
larger in scale and more dangerous than the previous operation. Everything I
will be presenting in this series of articles is known to Presidential
Candidate Joe Biden, and former President Barack Obama, as they were
investigating elements of this new phase toward the tail end of 2016 before
leaving office.
What I will outline in this series is verified
and available in the public record, in articles and interviews published in
mainstream media and publications, written by credible investigative journalists
and former government officials or consultants. It is also well known to military
and intelligence professionals currently serving, who are fighting a rear guard
action trying to serve their nation while at the same time forming an active
resistance to the treasonous actions of the president.
I have been putting together this picture for
several months, and am bringing it out now because of a concern by many
observers that too many Americans are following the polls. Some Americans are
becoming complacent about the 2020 election results, as part of their desire to
see things return to some state of normalcy in the midst of the mind bending
chaos of the last 6 months.
I will document that the Russians have been
deeply engaged since at least 2016, possibly 2014, to support, fund, arm, and
organize an irregular army of American and European organizations and political
parties of the extreme Right, including Neo Nazis, Separatists, American
Secessionists, White Nationalists, armed militias, and fugitive Paramilitary
Terrorist Right Wing Cult leaders. Many of these organizations have been given
political asylum in Moscow and have offices there. There is documented direct
funding from the Russian Government at Putin's direction to sponsor Conferences
and travel for these groups. Several Neo Nazi groups in the US and Europe have
been brought to Russia for purposes of advanced training of the type used by
our Special Forces, under the direction of the Russian GRU. (Military
Intelligence, the same group which runs the "Troll Farms" and
Hackers, other forms of "asymmetric warfare) Russian officials have
smoothed the way for bank loans for several of these Neo Nazi groups through western
banks, which were used to fund actual right wing terror attacks carried out in
Sweden and France.
The logistics and support for these operations has been delivered though so-called "private" organizations, which are covertly funded by Putin. One is called the "Anti-Globalization Initiative"(AGI).
The two leading figures in this organization are Dmitry Rogozin,
former Putin official and advisor, and Alexander Ionov, a close personal
intimate of Putin, whose businesses are a cutout used in funding these
operations. Ionov has a well-known footprint in US GOP politics, through his
association with right wing think tanks and organizations, PACS, and the
National Rifle Association. Ionov was the handler and financed the legal
defense for captured and convicted Russian spy, Maria Butina several years ago.
She was the "honeytrap" for several top GOP and NRA operatives and
activists. She was finally deported last year.
I will present extensive documentation of this
Russian network in a series. It is crucial to understand that there is a
sizable "Fifth Column" of right wing, heavily armed terrorists who
are essentially expendable cannon fodder. They are waiting for some series of
public incidents or directives, conveyed through social media and message
boards. The plan is to go into a "rebellion phase," either to disrupt
the election, or in response to the election result, or for some reason or
reasons still unknown.
It is an army of potential Timothy McVeighs,
who have very little idea that they are pawns in a Russian intelligence game. They hope to unleash left vs right chaos
before the election, to give Donald Trump emergency powers, and interfere with the
vote. Some of them are conscious Russophiles and Putin devotees. They see
Russia as the only "White Superpower" with nuclear weapons.
I will also document how a number of alt-right
media, large and small, are direct fronts for Russian influence, such as
"One America News Network".
You have seen these people mobbing state capitals,
heavily armed. They act as vigilantes to stop protests against racism or
Confederate monuments. It’s possible you have heard that vigilante groups have formed near the southern border
for the purpose of hunting and shooting illegal migrants. They are running
their cars into peaceful crowds of protestors and are part of underground networks
on the Dark Web, who post the manifestos of mass shooters before and after the
fact. They also are organizing White Nationalist marches as provocations, led
by Putin admirers such as Richard Spencer, the organizer of the Charlottesville
"Unite the Right" rally.
They also masquerade as "Antifa"
provocateurs, committing violence to be blamed on "the Left" or Black
Lives Matters, with the intention or starting a bloody race war. This is an
actual serious threat, which needs to be investigated and addressed now, not in
October or November.
If you are wondering why it seems no one else
is saying this, I don't have an answer for you. Bits and pieces of the theory
appear here and there, but no one has put together the whole picture for public
consumption. I am not saying this scenario will happen. I am warning that the
capability for such a scenario has been built over the last four years and that,
like any other serious national security threat, we need to be prepared and
take preemptive actions to meet that threat.
I've been involved in Russian issues since
1983. I know the Russian people and their history. It did not, by the way,
begin in 1917. The Russians have a strategic view which goes back a Millennium.
Their cultural imperatives are never transactional or situational. They will
use up and throw away Donald Trump when they are finished with him, but their
actual grand strategy is geopolitical, cultural, and religious. Yes, religious.
They are among the best chess players in the world, very patient and deceptive. The open secret about what drives them is Putin’s
relationship with Russian Orthodox Christianity.
Part II – The Strategic Context
The Introduction to this series (Part I) was written before
several significant events. We have since witnessed the deployment of heavily
armed federal law enforcement special units to American cities (such as
Portland,OR) against unarmed citizens exercising their right to First Amendment
activity. We have also heard threats by Trump to delay the election, and as
well, to attempt to void the result if he loses. We have seen him override
Congress and nullify their Constitutional responsibility to appropriate money.
by ordering his GOP underlings in the Senate to stall and obstruct a COVID
relief bill. Instead, he chose to issue executive orders asserting presidential
power over the allocation of funds, including a suspension of the payroll tax,
which is intended to destroy Social Security. By his own admission in a recent
interview, his conduct on the COVID Relief Bill was primarily designed to
commit election fraud by bankrupting the Post Office in the hope of disrupting
mail-in voting, all in the name of preventing fraud against his vote, of course.
Each of these actions have been done through issuance of executive
orders. These actions conform to my warnings from last year, particularly in
the aftermath of the failed Impeachment, when I specifically stated that in the
absence of significant remaining Constitutional checks, Trump would act as a dictator
and govern through executive orders. He is using the emergency powers he
assumed in the name of fighting COVID19 exactly as I said he would, paralleling
Adolf Hitler’s plot to end German democracy through the manufactured state of
emergency after the Reichstag Fire, and the Enabling Act decrees.
These emergency powers were later broadened to allow the
president to include the use of force by federal law enforcement to protect national
monuments, and not long after, to override state and local law enforcement to
fight local crime, but only in “Democrat Cities”. These actions, rubber stamped
by Attorney General Barr and the GOP controlled Senate, all occurred in the
aftermath of the mass demonstrations and rioting resulting from the murder of
George Floyd in Minnesota. It has been documented that the violence and looting
in Minnesota was started by a Nazi Biker who was a known provocateur, sent in
under cover as a member of the virtually non-existent Antifa, to create an
explosive incident, a pattern which was frequently repeated around the Country.
Predictably, Trump called upon his “2nd Amendment” activists around the country
to confront the “Antifa” demonstrators, setting into motion gangs of vigilantes
who escalated the tensions and fueled the conflict further. His paranoia even led
him to brand an unarmed 70 year old peace activist as Antifa, in order to
defend the Buffalo Police for their brutal and nearly fatal unprovoked assault
on this person.
In this context, on June 2, 2020, Trump reacted as a terrified,
paranoid individual would be expected to in response to demonstrations at the
White House. He fled underground to his bunker and screamed at his Defense Secretary
to implement the 1807 Insurrection Act. This would authorize him and Barr to
override Posse Comitatus and use the military domestically against his own
civilians. He had demanded approval from Barr in advance. However, opposition
from Secretary Esper and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Milley negated that
order. Trump later stated he is keeping that on the table as a future option.
He has made no secret of his intention to fire Esper in the near term, because
he has been more independent than others in the White House, who are where they
are by virtue of Trump’s purges.
These events and actions have all been documented according to a
wide variety of public sources. I submit that these are part of a dry run, in
the lead up to the election, in which Trump is pushing the envelope as far as
possible to expand his extra-legal and unconstitutional measures, and that he
has an “end game.”
There is a Constitutional crisis in progress. You have all read
and heard the various scenarios through which Trump intends to steal the
election and keep power. These include, but are not limited to, a delay of the
vote, contesting the vote in court, active voter suppression and fraud,
sabotage of the USPS and the months long delay in counting mail-in votes,
challenge of the electors, and other possible actions.
What is not being stated emphatically enough is the possibility
that Trump will try to disrupt the election or seek to cancel it by unleashing
an armed rebellion against the United States.
He might try destroying the government if he loses by calling forth his
hard core, heavily armed support base on the extreme right. This could explode
as a violent resistance to an incoming Biden/Harris government. The same
forces which have been identified by state and local law enforcement and US intelligence
over recent years as the single most dangerous terrorist threat to the United
States, meaning domestic terrorism, are the hardcore underground of militias,
Neo-Nazis, Separatists, Confederate sympathizing rebels, Boogaloo and Proud
Boys, Armageddonists, and bikers. This network of domestic terrorists is and
has been protected and enabled by corrupt elements of US Law Enforcement, from
the DHS down to the county sheriffs, government agents, and people who have been
infiltrated into the US Military for combat training and networking. If there
were an armed rebellion, these are the forces that would be in the forefront
leading it.
On Tuesday August 11, I posted an interview by Bill Maher with
Col. Larry Wilkerson, (USA, ret.), who for many years was Chief of Staff for
Colin Powell, and a co-founder of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity
(VIPS). He is currently “gaming” each of the different scenarios in which Trump
will try to either steal the election or keep power by other means. Col.
WIlkerson is doing this on behalf of the Biden Campaign and the Democratic leadership.
His interview is very stark, and he warns precisely of the above scenario in
spine chilling terms. He reminds us that of the approximately 400 million
weapons owned in the United States, including active law enforcement or
Military, 60% are owned by Trump supporters who are private citizens. He also
sounds the alarm about the extensive infiltration of the US military by
Neo-Nazis at the rank of Sgt. and below. He expressed his fear and surprise
about the Democratic "gamers" naivete and denial, their shocked
reactions about what Trump and his GOP enablers are willing and likely to do.
Our greatest vulnerability to this threat is the degree to which
Americans are still in a state of denial regarding the lengths to which Trump
and his followers will go to wreck the election. We are not adequately prepared
for this. Only a handful of people are willing to speak publicly to it. There
is a fear of starting a panic or provoking violence by announcing this
prematurely. There is also a reluctance to let the rest of the World know that
the US is so unstable. They are afraid that were this threat to be widely
publicized, it would crash the global markets. There is still denial in high
places, even among the strongest of Trump’s opponents, even with everything
that he has done thus far. There is a high degree of disbelief that we are at
this point, which is only now starting to sink in.
Additionally, there is an even more dangerous factor of denial
and delusion which is blinding us to our current danger. Trump is, in
actuality, seriously mentally ill. A nationwide organization of highly
reputable psychiatrists headed by Dr. Bandy Lee has been sounding the alarm
about this since 2016. They have written and testified in Congressional
hearings on this matter and have been very outspoken over the last several
years. These are experts on profiling and distance diagnosis with decades of
experience, who work with our intelligence agencies in profiling world leaders
for our government,.
Our biggest problem is the abject fear our people and leadership
have of going into the very “dark places” of Trump’s mind to consider what he
is actually capable of doing in order to keep power. There is delusion by many
that our “checks and balances” are still sufficiently intact that we need not
worry about such a scenario. There is a blindness to a larger strategic factor
which I will outline. The reality is that many Americans will pay lip service
to Trump being “Nuts, crazy, unhinged” and will have no problem throwing up a
Facebook meme to that effect. But, to internalize it, and think through all of
its ramifications and implications, is an area to which most will not
venture,
Add to this picture the strong possibility that Trump is neurologically
and cognitively impaired due to a chronic condition, a stroke, or some other
event, as we have strong reason to suspect in light of video evidence over the recent
period.
Take this overall picture, which is the toxic mix of a malignant
personality disorder (whose origins were documented in the book by Mary Trump),
exacerbated by mental illness, a possible neurological impairment, and the
strategic conjuncture of world events converging on him, threatening to render
him a failure and shatter his fragile identity.
This combination has all the preconditions for Trump to utterly snap and
do the unthinkable, which is to start a civil war.
And that brings us to our impending overarching, onerous and
strategically most dangerous factor in all of this. Trump, in his deranged
state, turns to and is psychologically dependent upon our leading global
adversary, Vladimir Putin. Putin has Trump’s profile. Trump calls Putin weekly
for advice on everything, as contrasted with his refusal to speak with Dr.
Fauci for three months now. Trump’s decision to try to invoke the 1807 Act on
June 2 came right after a conversation with Putin, in which he challenged Trump
to not appear “weak”. His decisions to deploy federal force into Portland and
elsewhere are straight from Putin’s playbook.
Not least are the tens of thousands of irregular soldiers,
Trump’s private army which is out there waiting for their orders to activate. They are largely steered by Putin’s assets
that have been developed, infiltrated in, and trained, over the course of a
decade. These ‘soldiers’ represent Putin’s Joker card for unleashing chaos in
the United States.
Based on my knowledge and decades long involvement with Russia,
it is my assessment that Putin at this point would prefer Trump keeping power,
but that is not his strategic goal. The objective is to throw the US into
chaos. That is the actual threat which Russia poses to the 2020 election. Not
hackers. Not trolls or bots. Not disinformation. He wants a river of blood. If
we don’t protect and support people like Joe Biden, Barack Obama, General
Milley, and Col.Wilkerson, who are aware of this threat and are trying to head
it off, we are facing our end.
Part III begins the Russia dossier as to how Putin took over the
“hard right” and is deploying the Neo-Nazi movement against the West.
Part III – What Motivates Putin and Russian Policy? Revanchism and the “Third Rome.”
A partially disabled Soviet factory worker is playing chess with
his six year old young son in 1958. The boy asks his father; "Papa, why do
you walk so funny"?" I was injured in the War, Moy Malchik" "Did
anyone else I know get hurt Papa"? "Yes, your older brother, who you
never knew, got sick died of diphtheria during the siege of Leningrad. Your
Babushka was killed by the Germans. And your two uncles disappeared". "Papa,
why did they attack us"? "Because
they wanted to kill or control us. They signed a treaty to not attack us, so we
were all surprised when they did".
"Papa, we should have attacked first. Oh, and check" "Moy Malchik, you just beat me with
Bxh3, where did you learn that, you know its famous"? "I don't know Papa, I just did.”
That little anecdotal story might or might not be true. If the
little boy who is the subect of it were to hear it today, he might like it
enough to amend his autobiography to have it added.
The very idea that the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir
Putin, would be using and deploying a wide garden variety of Neo-Nazis,
Fascists, and Separatist networks to destabilize Western Europe and the United
States at first seems like an absurdity, given the history of Russia, and his
personal history. For a thoroughly indoctrinated Communist Apparatchik, (at
least until 1993, when he announced his "conversion" to the Russian
Orthodox Christianity of his Mother) KGB officer in East Germany, and head of
the Russian Federation Intelligence services, the FSB, it is beyond counter-intuitive
that Putin would be using Nazis as an irregular force in efforts to destabilize
the West. Yet, he is. In order to understand why and how this is
happening, we will need some context. (1)
We will start with a word which is illuminating and relevant.
"Revanchist."
"Revanchism (French: Revanchisme, from revanche,
"revenge") is the political manifestation of the will to reverse
territorial losses incurred by a country, often following a war or social
movement. Revanchism draws its strength from patriotic and retributionist
thought and is often motivated by economic or geopolitical factors. Extreme
revanchist ideologues often represent a hawkish stance, suggesting that their
desired objectives can be achieved through the positive outcome of another
war" (2)
Putin has described in interviews his own personal reaction to
the East German Revolution which brought down the government, the Berlin Wall,
and reunified Germany in 1989, during his activity there as KGB "Rezident."
He had been there with a cover as an Embassy flack and German translator, using
both his language skills and higher education in understanding international
trade. Covertly, however, he was aiding and abetting the communist terrorist
group, the "Red Army Faction", which was active in West Germany. RAF
took credit for many bombings and assassinations, including that of Chancellor
Kohl's close ally and leading banker, Alfred Herrhausen. (1)
He said that he was personally humiliated and horrified at the
implications for the Soviet Union, as he rushed back to the Soviet Embassy to
shred and destroy documents which they feared might fall into the hands of
demonstrators and find their way to the West. He was soon recalled to Moscow to
recruit for the KGB on university campuses, and also to ferret out potential
dissidents. During this time, he had a bird's eye view of the collapse of the
Soviet Union, and the ensuing chaos of that period.
Years later, Putin expressed his belief that the Soviet collapse
was the greatest political catastrophe of the 20th Century. This was not
because of his continuing belief in their dying and unsalvageable system, which
he had known was on life support. He was no longer a "Communist" in
his identity at that point, rather a Russian Nationalist. (This is the most
essential concept to grasp for a deeper understanding of the current strategic
danger, and why his "Revanchism" is the key to forecasting what he
will do, and how to respond.) (1)
The aftermath of the "1991 Russian Revolution" saw
radical and dramatic changes, which Putin and those of his Russian Nationalist
ilk would describe as "subjugation". Western politicians, bankers, technocrats,
economists and corporate kingpins descended on the carcass of the collapsed
Soviet economy and demoralized population in a literal feeding frenzy, using
their prerogative of "to the victor goes the spoils" .
Putin and his allies believe that they were subjected to a
process as punitive as the grossly retributive Peace Treaty of Versailles after
WW I, punishing, looting and wrecking Germany, with the result we are all aware
of in 20th Century history. There is a great deal of truth to this, they are
not wrong. (3)
Russia was soon in the grip of a new government led by the
"West Friendly" Boris Yeltsin. Yeltsin was a corrupt,
incompetent drunk, who in league with family members and cronies, began the
privatization and looting of Russian enterprises, under the rubric of a program
called "Shock Therapy". This program, drawn up by a Harvard
team, was supervised by economist Jeffrey Sachs, (who to his credit has
renounced and apologized for his program and actions) which literally caused,
and exacerbated an even greater economic catastrophe for Russia. (4)
The Sachs plan, as it was also known, began with the
premise that Russia, in order to become prosperous like the West, had to go
through a period of "structural adjustment", which would entail some
"painful short term suffering" to make the transition to a Market
economy, free of regulation, state control, or protections from foreign
speculators. Price gouging, speculation on prices of commodities, and Western
foreign investment to exploit cheap labor were all fair game. The pre-existing
"cradle to grave" protections for the standard of living of the
Russian people were to be suddenly ended to "incentivize" them to
work harder, since they were profiled as lazy and unmotivated. The Sachs
program dismantled public sector services and demanded extreme austerity, a
savage reduction in living standards and public health, while privatized
Russian companies were placed in the hands of former KGB Kleptocrats, who
looted them, sold off assets for dollars, parked their loot overseas and
offshore, and organized themselves into criminal syndicates. A new class
of Russian Oligarchs emerged. Their
fortunes were amassed quickly, out of which the Yeltsin family received a
substantial cut. The Holy Grail of the western looters was always the
enormous supply of undeveloped raw material wealth of Russia, which was
extracted by these corrupt billionaires and sold at below market prices to
speculators, who put none of this wealth back into the country or people. In
effect, Russia, which was a nuclear superpower, very advanced in science and
culture, was treated like a Third World country and economically raped. (3 and

Additionally, during this period there was a demographic
collapse in the Russian population, due to the harsh austerity, reduction in
living standards, shortages, escalating prices for foodstuffs and essentials, and
lack of potable fresh water due to slashing of the public sector. People
were forced to stand out in the cold for hours in long lines with
buckets, miles from home to draw well water. The Sachs/Harvard plan accelerated
the Russian death rate and infant mortality, as well as the abortion rate, and
literally depopulated the country by millions during that period. Additionally,
Russia suffered a debilitating "Brain Drain" with a mass emigration
and poaching of their doctors, scientists, engineers, and researchers, all
leaving to pursue the greater money available in the West. (3)
But the worst of the indignities suffered by the Russian people,
in the mind of Russian nationalists such as Putin, was the Western attack on
the cultural identity of the Russian People during this period of "spoils
acquisition.” They would refer to it as the "Flooding of Russia with the
filth flowing from the cultural sewer of the West". During this time, the
Sachs plan promoters pushed the idea that it was the organized crime syndicates
and oligarchs who were the natural leaders of the new entrepreneur and business
class of the emerging Free Market dynamo in Russia, and should be allowed full
autonomy to make money in any way they saw fit. There was a joke going around
at the time which asked if the "Chicago School" of economics was
founded by Al Capone. Russia was flooded with strip clubs, sex clubs, large
scale producers of hardcore porn, and was overwhelmed by human trafficking,
organ trafficking, and the drug trade. Underage Russian girls became a very hot
commodity internationally, as did the sale of black market babies to
prospective adoptive families in the West. Not the least of these humiliations
was the looting of Russian heritage and art treasures, which were bought up and
sold off for cash, robbing the Russian people of their precious and tenuous
connection to their past. And this all happened suddenly, within a five year
period, in which Russia, its leaders, its people, its wealth were either
corrupted, exploited or stolen, and “the dollar became king. This, in a
Nation which had been regimented, structured, and despite its abuses, was
relatively stable. (3)
Russian Nationalists equated the immediate Post Soviet period
with an economic, and political invasion whose scale of devastation was
comparable if not equal to those of Genghis Khan, Napoleon, and Adolf Hitler.
This Western policy brought the beast of Russian Ultra-Nationalism out of
hibernation, which is the dynamic that fueled Putin's rise to power. This is not
to extol the " good old days" of Soviet Era primitive accumulation
and Gulags, or justify and defend anything that Putin has done, rather, to
explain it, to see these events through their eyes.
So, for a moment, take all of this into consideration, and try
to put yourself into the mind of Vladimir Putin as I do, who when he was a boy
had the above conversations with his Papa, or something like it, asking why
World War II happened. You are living through this, you see it happening, and
you decide on a course of action. You decide that you need to act, as a Russian
Nationalist, as an Orthodox Christian, as a military man, as an autocrat in the
tradition of almost a millennium of Russian Czars. You look into the mirror and
make a solemn promise to "Make Russia Great Again". And you are
prepared to do so by taking your revenge against those who subjugated your
people. You know that militarily you are outgunned and outmanned. You resolve to use a strategy of asymmetric
warfare, and you will use every asset, lever, weapon and capability to wage it.
You look at your western adversary, and ask, "what is available to
me as a large and growing social/political tendency that is truly unhinged,
untethered, and irrational, which by being enabled and weaponized can unleash
maximum chaos and damage to my adversary"?
This is the mindset of Vladimir Putin: Revanchist, Russian
Nationalist, strategic chess master. He will likely lead Russia until the Year
2036, barring anything unforeseen. Any strategic planner or policy maker who
does not take this bigger picture into account is as blind as a bat, and has
very little idea what means Putin will try to use to disrupt our November
election. I write and speak with the authority and knowledge of Russian
History, with involvement in these issues going back to 1983.
We will pick up in Part IV with the story of Putin's rise to
power, his amassing of enormous personal wealth, and his emerging strategy of
deploying Neo-Nazi terrorists against the West.

Part IV – Planning for the Worst Case October
Surprise
Trump's and Putin's October Surprise
Imagine the following scenario. It is 10 am on the morning of Monday, October
19, and you are just getting out of the shower. You grab your phone before
going to the kitchen to get your coffee, and you notice your phone is blowing
up, with News notifications, Facebook messages, texts from friends, asking
"did you hear, did you see..."?
You open your Google News app and get your headline, "Five Truckbombs
exploded in New York City. Hundreds, maybe thousands of people..."
You go to the story, and read the gruesome details, one near Trump Tower, the
other at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, another on Wall Street, etc. The headline on
the New York Post, one of the Murdoch press reads the following: "Antifa
Terrorists Take Credit for NYC Bombing Wave" You go to CNN, then see the
Fox News Headline echoing the NY Post coverage. You read about thousands of
leaflets distributed by a group claiming to be Antifa, threatening more
bombings unless Trump resigns.
Trump convenes an emergency Cabinet meeting in the situation room, with the
heads of Homeland Security, FEMA, the Joint Chiefs, all present. Attorney
General William Barr brings out an Executive Order for Trump to sign declaring
a State of Emergency, and invoking the 1807 Insurrection Act, sending the Army
to New York without the consent of Governor Cuomo, authorizing the Attorney
General to deploy US Armed Forces domestically to round up and detain those
individuals who are either perpetrators of Antifa terrorism, supporters and
members of Antifa, or political opponents of Trump considered to be Antifa
sympathizers.
They then produce a second Executive Order to be announced immediately that due
to the terrorist attack on the US, the Elections are postponed in the name of
protecting the Public. This announcement provokes large scale demonstrations
throughout the United States, which lead violence
and rioting.
Combined forces of the US Military, National Guard and Special Units of Border
Patrol, ATF, DHS, FBI, and "private contractors" are deployed nationally
to "restore order" with mass arrests, using the same methods as in
their trial run in Portland, with tear gas and so-called "non-lethal
ammunition".
Included in Trump's Executive Order are provisions for suspending Habeus
Corpus, militarizing local law enforcement and putting them under federal authority. Local law enforcement is generally favorable
toward this, due to 80% of American Police Union members being Trump
supporters, as well as virtually all Police Union heads, state police, and
American county sheriffs.
Those arrested are relocated to sports fields, arenas and stadiums, (for public
health reasons) and detained behind cyclone fences with razor wire, and held
indefinitely as is now allowed under the Executive Orders.
When the inevitable Civil Conflict erupts, Trump plays his ace card and calls
for his MAGA movement, who are the heavily armed 2nd Amendment activists,
Nazis, Alt-Right and White Nationalist supporters, Boogaloo Boys and Proud
Boys, asking them to volunteer as vigilantes to track down the left wing fascist
terrorist Antifa members, and to come to Washington, DC to surround the White House
and protect the President. This is all
set into motion within 24 hours.
So, do I have your attention?
Many of you are now thinking of all of the reasons this can't
happen. "They wouldn't let it happen, not in America". "What
about Obama, the military, Biden, Congress, someone in the Cabinet, somebody
has to be able to stop this from happening?"
Some of you are thinking that there is no way this scenario unfolds, that
Antifa exists only on paper, they don't have the ability to do this kind of
terror operation, etc.
To those folks, I would say you are correct, but that does not mitigate against
such an attack by some entity operating under a "false flag".
This is where we come to the issue of how Russian intelligence is deployed,
using assets mostly on the "hard right," but also infiltrated into leftist
entities, who have been in place for years, prepping for just such a scenario,
working to unleash a tidal wave of Left vs Right violence sufficient enough for
Trump to declare martial law, and delay elections.
I am of the belief that the Russian intent behind their enabling of the extreme
right here and in Europe, is not simply to support Trump in holding power, but
to launch chaos in the West. This is not a tactical or lateral move, it is part
of Putin's long term strategy, which as I wrote about in Part III of this
series, is rooted in Russian Nationalism and Revanchism. His objective is to
"Make Russia Great Again". If you haven't read this, I strongly
suggest you do.
It is also necessary to understand that there is a factor which drives the
current dynamic and defines the potential danger which I've outlined, which is
the "student-teacher" relationship which currently exists between
Trump and Putin. Putin is mentoring Trump in autocracy, and they speak on a
weekly basis, on a number of subjects. I believe that Trump, in his diminished
cognitive state, has formed a psychological dependency on Putin. That is the
only explanation for Trump's behavior, in the form of his continuing protection
and enabling of Putin's operations against US interests over the last three years.
It is why a terrified Trump called Putin on the phone for advice when the White
House was surrounded be demonstrators on June 2, and tried to invoke1807 on
that day, based on Putin's advice not to appear weak.
This dynamic between them is what is at issue in our concerns about an
"October Surprise" and what
that might entail. We know there will be one, but of what character is the
question. That said, the scenario I outlined above may seem fantastical, but in
fact, it has already happened. It is the scenario and method employed by
Vladimir Putin himself to grab hold of power in Russia, and expand it.
[Author's note* There are some who might try to dismiss this as cheap political
fiction, a knockoff on a Jason Bourne Ludlum Novel, Tom Clancy, or Vince
Flynn's series on Mitch Rapp. To those, I would remind that the best of these political
fiction/action novelists were often ex-military and intelligence personnel
themselves, or otherwise connected. The
scenarios they were writing were actually being gamed out by agencies of our
own government, and some were even written for that purpose. So there is
something to be said for writing scenarios.]
In 1999, according to testimony from Russian insiders and confidants of Putin
himself, and as documented by Russian investigative journalists, Putin had his
own capitol bombed by agents of the FSB, which he had recently headed, and
killed or wounded thousands of Russian citizens. (pictured below) Russian apartment
buildings in Moscow and elsewhere were bombed, and it was blamed on an unknown
Chechnyan independence group, whose representative that called to claim credit
for it was also unknown. Putin used that sequence of events to declare an
emergency, launch the second Chechnyan War, and use the emergency to jail or
kill his political enemies.
From Radio Liberty -- "On September 23, Putin asserted terrorists in
Chechnya were to blame and ordered a massive air campaign within the North
Caucasus region. When asked a day later about the campaign targeting what he
called terrorists, Putin responded with the phrase that inaugurated his rise to
preeminence. “We will pursue them everywhere,” he said, using a crude slang
expression. “Excuse me for saying so: We’ll catch them in the toilet. We’ll
wipe them out in the outhouse.”
The statement became a Putin catchphrase, and set the tone for the 20 years of
rule that followed."
Those who were in the know, in government, in Putin's inner circle, the press,
and the intelligence agencies who tried to blow the whistle were assassinated,
exiled or disappeared. Putin used the frenzy of patriotic reaction to make
himself the "Law and Order" candidate for the Russian Presidency and
won the 2000 Election. He was no longer Yeltsin's Presidential appointee but
ruled in his own name. From there, he has built his power relatively unchecked.
To be clear, I am not predicting this. I am not saying it is likely. I have no
direct sources in the intelligence community or government that have provided
me inside information. Like you, I have access to what is in the public domain.
But, I also have an insight into Trump's character, and Putin's mindset, which
is based on my political experience, and I am trained always to think
strategically, using the best information that I can access.
Any strategic planner worth his salt should operate from the standpoint of
preparing options for dealing with any number of scenarios, of varying levels
of degree, conditions, and complexity, based on estimates related to timing and
events. The best way to head off a catastrophe, whether a natural disaster or political
one, is to envisage the absolute worst case scenario, and prepare for it ahead
of time. That is why I am sounding the alarm here, hoping that I am not the
first or only person to be thinking this way, anticipating these sorts of
actions, or working to prevent them. It is frightening but necessary to
confront this now, rather than be blindsided.
Part V Sections 1-5; Neo-Nazi/Alt-Right Groups

Part V Section 1 – Russia Harbors US
Neo-Nazi/Terrorist Leader Nazzaro of “The Base”
I'll start off this next section with a reminder that Vladimir Putin is the world’s
richest man, according to Forbes and other sources, though much of his wealth
is hidden through family cutouts and others. This functions as his slush fund
for conducting intelligence warfare, among other things. Here, I will document
in short order the degree to which Putin has developed assets and agents in the
violent Alt-Right Neo Nazi and Separatist movements of the US and Europe. For
reference, and a strategic overview, please read parts 1-4 to get needed
background. If need be, let me know if you need the links.
The training, support, and funding of Neo Nazis in the US and Europe is a major
part of Putin's operations to create chaos around the election. One example is
the case of Rinaldo Nazzaro, the leader of the right wing terrorist group,
"The Base." According to BBC Jan, 20, 2020-- "The Base is a
major counter terrorism focus for the FBI. Seven alleged members were charged
this month with various offences, including conspiracy to commit murder."
Navarro, who has several aliases, lives in St. Petersburg Russia, (Putin's
hometown) and has asylum to live there with his Russian wife under the protection
of the Russian government, running his organization remotely. They traffic in
weapons and are committed to heavily arming for the "coming race
war." According to BBC and other sources, Navarro owned a security company
in New York which had government contracts, security clearances, and a working
relationship to the CIA, and is part of a network that extends into law enforcement
and the military. Navarro wears a Putin
T-Shirt and brags of his relationship with the Russian government.
"Last year Nazzaro was listed as a guest at a Russian government security
exhibition in Moscow, which "focused on the demonstration of the results
of state policy and achievements".
So, Navarro is a protected asset of the Russian government, and as you will see
in this article, his reach and operational capability extends in Europe and the
US.

Part V- Section 2- Richard Spencer,
US Neo-Nazi and his wife are Kremlin Assets
According to "The Observer", Aug 8, 2017, Richard Spencer,
Neo Nazi leader and organizer of the “Unite the Right" rally in
Charlottesville VA, is an Agent of Russian influence. Here are some excerpts--
"Our extreme right, with very few exceptions, are super-fans of the
Russian president, in whom they see a strong, traditional leader who runs the
world’s only white nuclear-armed great power. Their websites brim with
adulation for Putin as a demigod who resists the Western social justice agenda
with more than words. That this depiction of Putin may not be entirely true
matters not a whit to his ardent alt-right fans."
Although our country has always had white supremacists, Russia has given them
renewed focus and energy, as well as a ready-made worldview. This take on the
world includes overt white nationalism which despises the United States as a
decadent and multiracial society.
Take the case of Richard Spencer, who was in Charlottesville as the de facto
leader of the rising far-right in our country. Young and photogenic with his
famously flashy haircut, Spencer is a strong fan of Putin, exuding praise for
Russia and its strongman leader to anybody who will listen. His connections are
more than ideological, however. His wife, Nina Kouprianova, is a Russian
far-rightist herself with Kremlin connections.
As Nina Byzantina on Twitter, she is a full-fledged Kremlin troll who reliably
follows the Putin line on virtually any issue, foreign and domestic, while
Kouprianova has also served as the English translator for Aleksandr Dugin, a
quixotic political theorist and self-proclaimed “geo-strategist” who functions
as Moscow’s ambassador-at-large to the Western extreme right."
The Observer makes the key strategic point here, elaborating on Putin's
operations in Europe--
"More ominously, GRU has been training and arming neo-Nazis in Europe,
with sometimes lethal consequences. Last October, a Hungarian policeman was
shot dead by István Győrkös, a far-right radical who had been running
paramilitary training camps for neo-Nazis from Hungary and Germany. Győrkös had
met frequently with GRU representatives, and these war-games were clandestinely
supported by Moscow, Hungarian security officials quickly deduced, with Kremlin
officials even taking part in the “training.”
Oh, and by the way, according to "Insider"
"America’s most notorious white nationalist says he knew Stephen Miller
‘quite well’ while they were members of a Duke University conservative
club". Yes, that Stephen Miller.

"In the lead up to a large open-carry gun rights rally in Richmond,
Virginia, FBI agents busted Base members for planning to murder antifascist
activists in their beds. Others faced arrest for plotting to initiate a civil
war by killing police officers and gun advocates, potentially framing
antifascists for the deaths.
Another Base member directed a 2019 campaign of "tagging" synagogues with
swastikas, an effort he named "Operation Kristallnacht." A photo
posted on social media by another suspected member shows a masked man shooting
a target painted with a Star of David."
What has changed is the successful fascist evangelism of Russians like
Kremlin-adjacent Aleksandr Dugin, Eduard Limonov, and their associates,
combined with the growing need of U.S. far right groups for funding and
sanctuary. The rise of once-obscure ideological strains of ultra-nationalism,
promulgated through increased international collaboration, finds a useful
fillip in Vladimir Putin’s growing interest in covertly disrupting U.S. social
and political stability and norms."
So, in case you need to be reminded, Ha'aretz is one of the two leading
mainstream dailies in Israel, they are not Alex Jones or QAnon spinning
conspiracies. On matters such as these, the Israelis are top notch, and when it
comes to Nazis, are not prone to exaggeration or hysteria. They identify and go
after them.

Part V Section 4- New York Times
Story on Russia Plan for US Race War
The following headline ran in the New York Times, March 10, 2020. --
"Russia Trying to Stoke U.S. Racial Tensions Before Election, Officials
Say
Russian intelligence services are trying to incite violence by white
supremacist groups to sow chaos in the United States, American intelligence
officials said."
My comment would be that one thing to remember is that this period was during
the time our intelligences agencies were able to brief Congress and the presidential
candidates on election interference without obstruction from the Trump administration,
because the reports were already assembled by officials not yet purged in the
aftermath of the impeachment. Much of the material which is published by investigative
reporters is months in the making, going through exhaustive vetting and debate
on the editorial board. Stories involving national security almost always
involve leaks by confidential sources, whose reports are thoroughly sourced,
and come from a very high level. This article, which everyone should read, is
one such article, that blows the whistle on Putin's strategy for chaos around
the election.

"The Russian government has stepped up efforts to inflame racial tensions
in the United States as part of its bid to influence November’s presidential
election, including trying to incite violence by white supremacist groups and
to stoke anger among African-Americans, according to seven American officials
briefed on recent intelligence.
Russia’s lead intelligence agency, the S.V.R., has apparently gone beyond 2016
methods of interference, when operatives tried to stoke racial animosity by
creating fake Black Lives Matter groups and spreading disinformation to depress
black voter turnout. Now, Russia is also trying to influence white supremacist
groups, the officials said; they gave few details, but one official said
federal investigators are examining how at least one neo-Nazi organization with
ties to Russia is funded. Russia’s
primary goal, according to several officials briefed on the intelligence (who
spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive information), is to foster
a sense of chaos in the United States, though its motivations are under debate
and difficult to decipher in the absence of high-level intelligence sources
inside Moscow."
"The Russian intelligence services took note of the divisive nature of the
2017 white supremacist march in Charlottesville, Va., which led to the death of
a counter protester, and concluded that promoting hate groups was the most
effective method of sowing discord in the United States, according to American
intelligence reports described by the officials."
After some more background on the previously mentioned "The Base",
they add the following--
"Russia or Russian oligarchs are already funding far-right groups in
Europe, according to current and former officials. The Night Wolves motorcycle
club has received support from Russians and has worked to sow chaos in Eastern
Europe. The Russian Imperial Movement, another right-wing group with the
implicit backing of Moscow, has sent fighters to eastern Ukraine, and other
Russian organizations have offered weapons training to far-right groups in
Europe."
The New York Times broke this story in March. Other News services have added to
this picture since then. This should underline why Trump and Barr have gone so
far over the line in trying to undo the entirety of the Russia investigation,
including the launching of the Durham probe to frame up and indict those
individuals who started it. They are acting to blind US Intelligence to the operations
Putin has launched to throw the US into chaos, serving only the drive to retain
power by Trump in the name of a "national emergency"

Part V Section 5 - “Just Security”
Report, Fascist Russian Imperial Movement (RIM)
According to noted Security Intelligence News
Service, "Just Security", Feb 6, 2020, whose board is diverse and
consists of former intel officials, members of congress, diplomats and military
officials, Russia has deployed a Russian nationalist group called RIM, (Russian
Imperial Movement) to train and arm Neo Nazis in Europe. RIM is considered the
paramilitary arm of the Putin allied "Rodina Party", and the Ultra
Nationalist faction of the Orthodox Church. (One of Rodina's Founders,
Economist Sergey Glazyev is known to me. I helped raise the money to publish
his book in English back in 2005.) RIM
operates under the personal protection of Vladimir Putin.
An excerpt--
"RIM...established joint camps for military and athletic instruction.”
Now, through its paramilitary arm Imperial Legion, RIM carries out weeklong
military-style training sessions known as Partisan. Led by a former member of
the Russian armed forces, this program teaches ‘cadets’ to operate firearms and
move in tactical formation.
In recent years, RIM’s terrorist training has proven deadly. Months before
bombing a refugee center in Gothenburg, Sweden,
two perpetrators attended RIM’s partisan training camp. According to the
prosecutor handling the case, attendance at the “paramilitary camp in St.
Petersburg was a key step in [the bombers’] radicalization” and it “may be the
place where they learned to manufacture the bombs that they used in
Gothenburg.” Both men had a history with the Nordic Resistance Movement (NRM),
though it appears that each had moved on from the organization."
"What, then, is the connection between RIM’s transnational activities and
Putin’s desire to undermine Western democracy? According to Alexander
Verkhovsky, director of the Moscow-based SOVA Center for Information and
Analysis, Russian authorities knowingly tolerate RIM’s paramilitary camps. The
Kremlin does not directly support RIM, but it does nothing to combat the
group’s violent activities, despite knowledge of their operations. As former
Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Michael Carpenter characterized the
situation, RIM’s paramilitary arm “operates freely” in Russia. The lack of
counterterrorism pressure from domestic forces in Russia allows the
organization to form alliances with extremists across Europe and the United
States, enhancing the overall threat of right-wing extremism."
It is important to understand that Putin has been using Neo Nazis in Europe for
years, in Ukraine and elsewhere. These terrorists have maintained a pilgrimage
to St. Petersburg Russia for training in weapons and tactics under direction of
GRU officials. The RIM is interfaced with American extremist groups, and many
from here have travelled there for training. Most of the intelligence we have
regarding these operations by Putin came out in February and March. I think
that the timing of these revelations should be seen in light of the immediate
aftermath of the impeachment, and growing fears in our national security
establishment about what scenarios might be in play for Trump to hold power,
regardless of election results, and what actions Russia might take to assist
their preferred candidate. Timing of events is often as meaningful as the
events themselves.

Part VI – RIM Trains and Deploys Euro Nazis;

Among the multiple sources which have given coverage to this, the May 6 2020
edition of "Deutsche Welle", the German affiliate of their public broadcasting,
Russia is running and training German Neo Nazis in St. Petersburg, Russia under
the auspices of the pro-Putin Russian Imperial Movement, (RIM).
An excerpt--
"Right-wing extremists in Germany are participating in paramilitary
training at a special camp near city of Saint Petersburg in Russia, German news
magazine Focus reported Friday.
Members of the youth wing of Germany's extreme-right National Democratic Party
(NPD) and the minor right-wing party The Third Way have completed the training,
the report said, citing German intelligence sources.
The participants received training in how to use weapons and explosives. They
were also trained in close combat, the magazine said.
Swedish and Finnish nationals are also among the trainees. Participants go on
to join Russian militias active in eastern Ukraine.
The US recently added RIM to its list of global terrorist groups. The group had
‘provided paramilitary-style training to white supremacists and neo-Nazis in
Europe,’ the US said."
Though the Russian government tries to maintain a distance from RIM, it is
acknowledged by security experts that Putin is aware of their training camps,
allows them latitude, and arranges their funding through cutouts. Germany has
been trying to contain the rapid spread of Neo Nazis in the general population,
their military and law enforcement, especially in East Germany.
It is illegal to promote Nazi or racist views in Germany under
their post war Constitution. However, in the context of the refugee influx, the
growth of immigrant labor, and the populist rebellion against the restrictions
against COVID19, the anti-immigrant movement has become a mass based political
force, which had lifted the German Right Wing Party known as Alternative for
Germany (AfD), to become the number two opposition Party in Germany. This
far right party has recently allied openly with "Pergida", the equivalent
of the extreme right militias and QAnon in the US. The Russian supported QAnon
is also growing rapidly in Germany.
Part VII – Aleksandr Dugin, Founder, Russian Fascism, Kremlin
Link to Alt-Right
This is Aleksandr Dugin. He is the leading figure in Russia's military intelligence
establishment tasked with liaison and alliance building between Russian intelligence
and the Neo Nazis of Europe and the US. He is the self-admitted founder of
Russian Fascism and has integrated himself into a direct hands on role in
deploying leaders of the US based fascist "Patriots" groups who are
provoking violence in the US. Many of the significant figures leading the
Alt-Right have a working relationship with this man.
An excerpt from his Wikipedia page-
"Dugin made contact with the French far-right thinker Alain de Benoist in
1990.[91] Around the same time he also met the Belgian Jean-François Thiriart
and Yves Lacoste.[92] In 1992 he invited some of the European far-right figures
he had met to go to Russia.[93] He has also recruited members of Jobbik and
Golden Dawn to Russia in order to strengthen their ties to the country.[94] In
2018, he met Steve Bannon in Rome.[95]"
Dugin's English language translator is Nina Kaprianuova, aka, Nina Byzantia,
infamous Kremlin backed Twitter troll, informal spokeswoman for Putin's
policies, and Russian Nationalist media personality. She also happens to be
married to American Neo-Nazi leader, Richard Spencer, organizer of the
2017 lethal "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville VA. Spencer is
the former college buddy of White House anti-immigration advisor and speech
writer, Stephen Miller.
Additionally, Dugin is currently building a political interface between his
Fascist Network with QAnon in Europe and Russia to bring them into a leading
role, especially in Germany where they are allying with the extreme Right AfD
Party (Alternative fur Deutchland, or Alternative for Germany), where it is the
second largest opposition party. According to Chamila Liyanage in an interview
with "TRT News Service." She points to how Q provides ample
space for followers of Russian strategist and fascist, Aleksandr Dugin, to
converge."
I have referenced Dugin in three of the sections in my series on Putin's plan
to disrupt the election, and documented his role in organizing and training Neo
Nazis in Europe and here. Anyone serious about making sure there IS an election
should get to work getting this series around. Everyone should be discussing
that the violence you see in Portland and Kenosha is very much the operational
plan of Putin for election interference, and the so-called
"vigilantes" showing up at demonstrations heavily armed and provoking
violence are pawns in a Russian Intelligence game, whether they are conscious of it or not.
Part VIII – Russia Harbors and
Funds US Separatists and both California and Texas Secessionists
We pick up with the continuing
narrative that Russian Intelligence is steering elements of the potentially
violent Alt-Right, with the intention of creating a Left vs Right chaos
scenario not unlike the crisis which weakened the Weimar Republic of Germany in
the aftermath of World War I. Back then, the conditions of demoralization,
economic collapse and ungovernability created the circumstances in which a very
tiny minority extremist party, Hitler's National Socialists, could carve out
enough of a vote on a law and order platform that they were able to form a
coalition government with Hitler as Chancellor. That, of course was a short-lived
arrangement.
We have documented multiple
interfaces between the Russian Intelligence services with Neo-Nazis and militias,
both in the US and Europe. We have established that Putin's motivation is to
restore Russian "greatness", as a "Revanchist" nationalist
reaction to the destructive and draconian economic reforms imposed on Russia by
the West after the Soviet Collapse, reforms which were known as "Shock
Therapy", or the "Sachs Plan", named after Harvard economist
Jeffrey Sachs.
The context is recent news that
the poisoning of Putin's leading voice of opposition, Alexei Navalny, was done
with Soviet Era nerve agent, Novichuk, a weapon of choice in a long history of
Russian assassinations of Putin's dangerous adversaries.
Prominent among Putin's alt-right
"Zoo" are leaders of America's Secessionist movements and
organizations that serve that end. Throughout the US, there are growing
movements for state sovereignty, which intend to break from the Union as did
the Confederate States of America. Many of these groups are racist, trying to
hide their actual beliefs with appeals to renouncing federal taxes, regulation,
and "intrusion into people's private lives." They are populistic and
try to capitalize on political and cultural cynicism, railing against the
abuses of the federal government. Their actual agenda is Social Darwinism,
meaning their strongly held belief that the "unfit" are dragging the
real doers down, and that the social safety net which maintains the standard of
living of those "unfit" people is an unnecessary and unfair burden on
those who do the most important work and make the most money.
Their belief in secession is
rooted in a desire to throw the "unfit" overboard, by dismantling the
role of the federal government. They are intrinsically racist, but not open
about it, except as it pertains to racism against Muslims. There is little
doubt that were Putin asset Donald Trump to launch a civil conflict to hold
onto power after losing the election, these anti-government populists and right
wing anarchists would take up arms against those forces in the government which
stand against Trump's plans. At the very least, they would be a wild card in
contributing to the chaos scenario which Putin is trying to bring to the US.
That is why Putin openly supports them.
These Secessionist organizations
have a track record of mass organizing and are not a small entity. They have
succeeded in placing ballot initiatives for referendum in California and Texas and
have come close elsewhere, where citizens can vote to secede and their state
declare its independence from the United States.
For example, according to
"Think Progress", the Texas Nationalist Movement is actually based in
Moscow.
"For years, the Texas
Nationalist Movement has cultivated ties in Russia, especially among those
who’ve received financing directly from the Kremlin.
Now, as ThinkProgress discovered,
one of the Texas-based secessionist group’s flags is actually hanging outright
in Moscow — highlighting the ongoing questions surrounding their links
overseas. Last week, Alexander Ionov posted a video to his Instagram page,
which remains one of his preferred platforms for highlighting his ties to other
groups. Ionov runs the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia, a group that
helps organize secession movements across the West, and which has received
financing from the Kremlin in the past. In the video, the Texas Nationalist
Movement’s flag can be seen hanging prominently in the office. The caption of
the video read, “If your office doesn’t look like this, don’t even call me.”
You can also see the role of
Putin crony Ionov over years in several operations against the US, as I had
referenced in Part 1.
" The flag joins other items
Ionov has previously hung in his office, including a letter from Russian
President Vladimir Putin personally thanking Ionov for his “work to strengthen
friendship between peoples.” (Ionov has also been involved in raising money for
Maria Butina, the convicted Russian agent who successfully infiltrated the
National Rifle Association.)" It is
also documented that Putin's crony Ionov and the Pro Putin Rodina Party
directly fund the Texas Nationalist Movement.
"The Texas Nationalist
Movement’s Nathan Smith has led multiple trips to Russia, building links with
Ionov’s group along the way. Smith, for instance, represented the Texas
Nationalist Movement at a secessionist conference in Moscow in 2016, just a few
months before the U.S. presidential election. The website for the far-right
Russian Rodina party — a party co-founded by sanctioned Russian official Dmitry
Rogozin — even featured Smith on its website during one of his visits. (Other
American representatives, including those supposedly backing California
independence, also attended the 2016 conference.)
Texas Nationalist Movement officials later revealed that Ionov’s organization
had helped fund the Texas group’s 2016 travels directly. In a December 2016
interview with KQED, Texas Nationalist Movement head Daniel Miller “declined to
say how much money the Kremlin gave” to the Texas Nationalist Movement.
While the Texas Nationalist Movement built its links in Moscow, the Russian
Internet Research Agency (IRA) spent 2015-2017 specifically targeting those
backing Texas secession, primarily via Facebook and Twitter. For instance, the
IRA’s “Heart of Texas” Facebook page grew wildly popular on the platform: not
only was it the largest Facebook page dedicated to Texas secession, but it at
one point had more followers in 2016 than the official Texas GOP and Texas
Democratic Facebook pages combined.
The “Heart of Texas” page claimed that it was collecting names of supporters to
pass along to the Texas Nationalist Movement, although Texas Nationalist
Movement members denied they ever collaborated with Russia.
Regardless, Ionov and his group aren’t the only Kremlin-funded movement with
whom the Texas Nationalist Movement has cultivated links. In late 2014,
according to The Telegraph, the Texas Nationalist Movement confirmed it had met
with a representative from the Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine,
and announced that they had a “fundamental right” to self-determination. The separatists
have received years of funding, arms, and direction from the Kremlin, acting as
an effective proxy for Russian designs in breaking up Ukraine. They have also
been accused of human rights atrocities along the way, none of which stopped
the Texas Nationalist Movement from meeting with one of their
representatives."
California's Secessionist movement is also quite large and also
based in Moscow under the patronage of Alexander Ionov.

"Louis J. Marinelli is a man on a quixotic mission: to help
California secede from the United States and become an independent country.
Surprisingly, this quest has been going relatively well of late. Marinelli's
group, Yes California, is attempting to collect 585,000 signatures necessary to
place a secessionist question on the 2018 ballot. Buoyed by California's
already tense relationship with President Donald Trump, the campaign has
received a large amount of press coverage and support over the past few months.
But for the 30-year-old Yes California president, there remains one annoying
problem: People keep asking him why he lives in Russia."Hands off
California, Putin," a rival secessionist movement, the California National
Party, tweeted in January. "We won't take orders from your puppet Moscow
Marinelli". Marinelli has perhaps compounded the issue by making numerous
appearances on Russian state media (approximately once a week, by his own
estimation), at times offering a political viewpoint that seems to line up
neatly with the Kremlin's. In late December, the Russian media gave widespread
coverage to Martinelli as his group opened a "Californian Embassy" in
Moscow."
(So, consider that the largest Secessionist group in the US
succeeded in gathering 585,000 signatures of Californians who want to leave the
United States, and that the organization which did that is based in Russia, and
is financed by an intimate crony of Vladimir Putin. LFR)
(Wapo, con't) "It goes like this: Buffalo, New York-born
Marinelli moved to California in 2006. A year later, he upped sticks and went
to Saint Petersburg State University to study Russian. He lived "on and
off" in Russia between 2007 and 2011, during which time he met his wife, a
Russian citizen. The pair moved back to San Diego, but Marinelli's partner ran
into problems with the U.S. immigration system." Marinelli's ties to
Alexander Ionov are perhaps bigger conspiracy fodder. Ionov is the founder of
the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia, a group that supports various secessionist
movements around the world. Last September, he put on a Kremlin-sponsored event
in Moscow for Western secessionists that Martinelli and other representatives
of Yes California attended. Reached via email, Ionov said that about 30 percent
of the funding for the event came from the Russian government. But he said none
of that money was given to any U.S. groups, including Yes California.Simon
Saradzhyan, the founding director of the Russia Matters Project at Harvard's
Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, said that the Russian
government probably wasn't taking the Yes California project very seriously,
"if only because that chances that this movement can eventually win
independence for that state are close to zero." But Saradzhyan also noted
that Russia could well be interested in getting revenge on Washington for what
it saw as U.S. support for Chechen separatism in the 1990s. Fiona Hill, a
Russia expert with Brookings Institution, said in an email that historical
Russian links to California added further intrigue to the situation.
"Russia had a major early-19th century colony in California and there has
been quite a lot of interest in promoting this from circle's close to the
Kremlin," Hill said, pointing to Kremlin-connected oligarch Viktor
Vekselberg and his interest in Fort Ross, the former colony in what is now
Sonoma County."

Part IX --
Russian-Influenced Media; Case of OAN
Vladimir Putin has
been placing assets in the US and Europe as a long-term project for at least seven
years, and in some cases further back. As mentioned earlier in this series,
many of his operations are designed in such a way that if ever confronted on
it, he can credibly claim that he is simply returning the favor and retaliating
“tit for tat” in response to similar operations directed against his country.
For example, were anyone to mention to him his arming of the Taliban in
Afghanistan over recent years, he might mention that the US openly supported
the Chechnyan Separatists in his own backyard.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin
accused the United States of having had direct dialogue with Chechen
separatists, whom he likened to Osama Bin Laden, shortly after a hostage-taking
at a school in the North Ossetian town of Beslan that took place on Sept. 1-3,
2004, for which notorious Chechen warlord Shamil Basayev had claimed
responsibility. Speaking
in the wake of the attack, Putin addressed Western policy
experts at the inaugural, closed-door meeting of the Valdai discussion club;
there, CNN reported, he criticized the U.S.
tendency to view anti-Russian fighters in Chechnya as “freedom fighters” rather
than terrorists. In particular, he claimed that the Americans had met with
Chechen separatist representatives and that Russia’s complaints about
these contacts had been met with the response that the U.S. “reserve[s] the
right to talk with anyone.”1In 2015, Putin again spoke of
communication between militants from the North Caucasus and U.S. officials. In
an interview with the Rossiya television
channel he said that, “once, our special services noted direct contacts between
rebels from the North Caucasus and representatives of the special services of
the United States in Azerbaijan”; Putin suggested that the latter even
“helped with transport” for the militants.2 His complaints
about the matter to the U.S. administration, he said, ended with a letter from
U.S. intelligence stating that the U.S. government had the right to maintain
contacts “with all opposition forces in Russia.” (1)
Though there is no proof that the US openly gave direct material
support to the Chechens, as Putin might claim, he is correct that the US did
establish relations with them. That gives him enough cover to say that this was
all he was doing with the Taliban. He employs similar arguments in other cases
where he is conducting Intelligence warfare against the US and European countries.
Among the assets he has cultivated over many years are those in
the US Media, several of which are longer term, and some more recent. One of
the Russian steered assets in the US news media is particularly dangerous,
because it has recently become the most favored source of news and information
for Donald Trump, the “One America News
Network”, (OAN) replacing his previous favorite, Fox News. The other is the
official Russian State English Language News Cable, “Russia Today” (RT). Which
we will cover more a bit later. OANN has been very open about its affiliation
and preference for Russia, and in particular has been more than willing to
spread Russian disinformation and explicitly falsified claims, for purposes of
leading Trump in one direction or another. Many will remember that during the
first wave of mass protests against the murder of George Floyd, Buffalo NY
Police in riot gear brutally assaulted and seriously injured a peaceful 70
years old peace activist. It was OANN which first issued the lying report that
the activist was an agent of Antifa and had fabricated his own injury in order
to give his terrorist backers credibility and sympathy. That OANN story was
retweeted by Donald Trump Jr., and then embraced by his father shortly after.
So, who and what is OAN?
According to the Denver Post, July 6, 2017
“…since its inception in 2013, and especially
since Trump began his march to the White House, One America’s owner, Robert
Herring Sr., a millionaire who made his money printing circuit boards, has
directed his channel to push Trump’s candidacy, scuttle stories about police
shootings, encourage antiabortion stories, minimize coverage of Russian
aggression, and steer away from the new president’s troubles, according to more
than a dozen current and former producers, writers and anchors, as well as internal
emails from Herring and his top news executives.”
…”Nonetheless, Robert Herring has
repeatedly shaped the news on OAN. During the campaign, for example, he banned
stories about polls that showed anyone other than Trump in the lead, according
to emails and interviews with OAN journalists.
“Early one morning in March 2016,
Herring emailed producers with a directive, two hours before former GOP
presidential nominee Mitt Romney was to denounce Trump as “very, very not
smart”: “Do not carry the Romney speech live,” Herring wrote. “Romney has no
standing. … He is a loser. We will let the people decide.”
…”In 2000,
Robert Herring Sr., who is 76, sold the family’s business, Herco Technology,
for $122 million. He retired and met a woman in Russia who became his third
wife. ...In 2013, the family created its second channel, One America News.
Robert Herring’s idea was to provide something that had gone missing from the
cable news landscape – a basic headline service covering national and international
news.
…” Almost all of
the reports are read by the anchors over video footage provided by the Reuters,
Associated Press and Euronews services, as well as by RT, the Kremlin-funded
news outlet that a U.S. intelligence report calls “Russia’s state-run
propaganda machine.”
“OAN breaks its
cycle of half-hour newscasts only for two hours of evening opinion shows – The
Daily Ledger with Graham Ledger and Tipping Point with Liz Wheeler – both of
which are guns-blazing nightly tributes to Trump. Ledger is a tough guy who
takes no prisoners. Talking about people coming into the country from
majority-Muslim countries, he says, “If they won’t take a bite out of a pulled
pork sandwich, we probably won’t let them in the country.” Wheeler leans more
on clever snark and verbal eyerolls: “How many innocent people have
Islamophobes killed this week?”
Continuing, from DP, “…Producers
said Herring repeatedly urged against running stories critical of Russia.
(Herring’s online streaming company, KlowdTV, features a package offering just
Herring’s own channels and RT. “Wouldn’t it be better if we started working
with Russia, than to keep blaming them for everything,” Herring tweeted in
October. “Lift sanctions, no NATO on their borders.”
In a lead story, June 11, 2020,
“The Atlantic” ran the following headline and sub heading-
“Is OAN the Leading Edge of Russian
Misinformation?
The Biden campaign says Trump’s favorite TV network is peddling
the Kremlin’s lies.”

“In
what appears to be a signal of intensifying political
warfare ahead of the November election, One America News Network, the
Trump-supporting cable channel that has been promoting anti-Biden conspiracies for several months, says it has obtained
several hours of secret recordings of then–Vice President Biden’s conversations
with Ukrainian officials. If such recordings exist, they’re likely linked to
pro-Russian interests in Ukraine and a Russian intelligence operation, two former
U.S. ambassadors to Ukraine and a former ambassador to Russia told me. The OAN
employee who claims to have the tapes would not say what was on them, other
than suggesting that they will be revelatory.”
“Andriy
Derkach, who released the Biden tapes that have already come out, is a former
member of a pro-Russian political party who graduated from a KGB-run academy in
Moscow. OAN lends his efforts a veneer, however
thin, of journalistic legitimacy.
“The
person now claiming to have more tapes is OAN’s Chanel Rion, the on-air
personality who went with Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, on
his December trip to Ukraine in part to find information on Biden to help
Trump. Rion, who has become famous for her conspiracy-inflected questions at
White House briefings, emailed the Biden campaign May 29 claiming that she was
working on an “in-depth report” about recordings that appear to be of Biden
speaking with Petro Poroshenko, then the president of Ukraine. “We have over
five hours of these recordings (beyond what has been posted online by Nabu
Leaks),” she wrote, referencing a Ukrainian website suspected of Russian links.
“Derkach, a politician known as the “Ukrainian Putin,” has been a
proponent of the conspiracy theory that Ukraine was really behind the
interference in the 2016 election instead of Russia. And he has
previously been eager
to provide damaging material about Biden for
Trump’s sake. Derkach released a batch of recordings three weeks ago, claiming
that they had been made by Poroshenko and given to him by “investigative
journalists.”
…The Atlantic, continued…“as countries around the world increase
their cyberwar capabilities and their willingness to interfere in one another’s
domestic politics, and as the democratization of publishing allows for the
rapid spread of misinformation, media leaks of hard-to-verify and potentially
doctored documents and recordings of government officials are becoming
commonplace. “It is common practice for Russian intelligence to help put out
information in skewed forms in Ukraine, and forensic experts have seen that
this information is doctored,” said John Herbst, a former career Foreign
Service officer who served as the American ambassador to Ukraine from 2003 to
2006. “The Kremlin is a master at this sort of practice, and the sources in
Ukraine providing this sort of information are known to be well connected in
Moscow.”
“An
OAN spokesperson, Krista McClelland, did not respond to a request for comment
about the suggestion that the recordings have links to Russian intelligence.
Nor did she respond to the Biden campaign’s charges.
“Other
countries are stepping up their own efforts to get involved in this year’s
elections; Iran and China, for example, have been linked to attempts to
hack Biden and Trump campaign computers. But Russia continues to lead the
misinformation game. The day after Rion reached out to Biden’s team,
Sputnik—the Kremlin-owned propaganda service, which American intelligence has
accused of being involved in the 2016 misinformation efforts—ran an interview
with a former Poroshenko aide who claimed
that he was the one who’d made the recordings, and that he’d given them
to his lawyers to give the Trump administration. “Because of the coronavirus,”
he said,” they are waiting. But in September, closer to elections, they will
begin to use them more.”
In
the Online Edition of the June 15th “The Guardian”, author David
Smith wrote—
“Donald Trump and Fox News are said to have one of
the strongest marriages in political showbusiness.
But there is a young rival hoping to outfox Fox and catch the US president’s
wandering media eye.The obscure One
America News Network (OAN) makes up for its lack of
clout or viewers by covering every Trump utterance, recycling conspiracy
theories, downplaying Russian threats, bashing the mainstream media and
championing the “Make America Great Again” agenda.”
“An article on the Daily Beast website last
month was headlined “The Hell of Working at Trump’s New Favorite Network”, based on interviews with four former OAN employees. One
ex-video producer, Ernest Champell, said he was told on his first day at work, “Yeah, we like Russia here,” and
recalled how the network spread conspiracy theories and ran “hit jobs” on
politicians. He quit after four months”

But media watchdogs detect something more sinister about the network. OAN’s Washington team includes Jack
Posobiec, once described by the New York Times as “a pro-Trump activist notorious for his amateur
sleuthing into red herrings like the ‘Pizzagate’ hoax and a conspiracy theory
involving the murder of a Democratic aide”.
Next I want to highlight the role of OANN’s
Jack Posobiec, as he represents a perfect case study of the interface between
the Alt-Right Extremists, Right-Wing Trump supporting media, Russian
Intelligence, and the previously mentioned QAnon, as you see by the “Pizzagate”
Conspiracy reference, his personal role in spreading that, and as well another
infamous bogus Conspiracy pushed by them.

Dia”, by author Yamilla Habib, reporting on an expose by Huffington Post French
edition—

The head of department of The Rebel TV in
Washington and Philadelphian supporter of Donald Trump, Jack Posobiec, has been
the French headline for several days, having been the first to spread the
“MacronLeaks”.
“The internal documents of
the electoral campaign of Emmanuel Macron, president-elect of France, were the
subject of a cyber attack during the last electoral week, and its dissemination
was carried out on May 5, through an anglophone forum, before being immediately
spread on Twitter by an "American militant, near the far right,"
according to the Huffington Post France. Belgian social media
analyst Nicolas Vanderbiest said that after the publication of the documents in
the 4Chan forum, frequented by surfers close to the American alt-right, Jack Posobiec was the first to share
the data to his 100,000 followers on Twitter, inaugurating the hashtag
"#MacronLeaks".
Flashpoint of New York and
Trend Micro based in Tokyo have shared intelligence suggesting that the group
of hackers known as Advanced Persistent Threat 28, Fancy Bear and Pawn Storm
was responsible for filtering Emmanuel Macron’s documents. The group has been
linked to the GRU, the Russian Military Intelligence Directorate, according
to The Guardian.”
AD, continued…”According to
the French media, Posobiec represents a digital site (The Rebel)
openly supportive of Trump and Le Pen, which often disseminates inaccurate
data.
"The militant appears as part of the 'Slavright', a
far-right movement mainly located in Eastern Europe, considered racist and
white supremacist”, according to the French media.Hours before disseminating the hacked information of Emmanuel
Macron's campaign, Posobiec had been tagged in a photo along with former editor
Breitbart and one of the main right-wing figures who supported Donald Trump,
Milo Yinanopoulos, on a Caption that read "Happy #CincoDeMilo"…. Posobiec has been part of the spread of false information,
such as the "pizzagate" issue - conspiracy theory involving the
Clinton team with pedophilia - as well as the call for a boycott of the latest
Star Wars film, "Rogue One," for allegedly broadcasting an anti-Trump
message, according to L'Obs newspaper
in France.
“For its part, Reuters published yesterday
that Posobiec has received access to the White House, from the Trump
Administration. Posobiec, " attended the daily press briefing on Tuesday
and later broadcast video from the White House grounds with positive commentary
on President Donald Trump's abrupt firing of FBI Director James Comey”,
explains the media.
“The cyber attack of the French president-elect has worried the
international security community since it could imply a connection between
Russian digital intelligence organizations and public figures of the American
extreme right.
Through social networks,
Posobiec and William Craddick, for example, founder and editor-in-chief of Disobedient Media have
been perceived as close to each other. Craddick would have warned that French
documents had been leaked minutes before it was made public.
According to Reuters, "two US intelligence
officials said that they are increasingly confident that hackers with
connections to the Russian government played a role in the French
election.”

is currently a host for One America News Network, a right-wing news outlet that
specializes in sycophantic coverage
of President Donald Trump and conspiracy
theories. He previously worked
for far-right Canadian outlet Rebel Media. Posobiec achieved his standing in
the MAGA media universe by embracing the
“alt-right” and its
public figures during the 2016 presidential election and, like many
other grifters, eventually rebranding
as a member of the “New Right” after the extremism of the “alt-right”
made associating with it too toxic.

have a picture now of Jack Posobiec. Russian disinformation conduit, virulently
Anti-Semitic Nazi, QAnon connected conspiracy spreader, leading journalist with
Russia linked OANN cable station, and accredited White House correspondent with
press pool access. People have been shocked and surprised by Trump’s embrace of
QAnon connected candidates recently, but in reality, he and his son Don Jr,
have been using these Russian steered White Supremacist networks for several years,
in a staggering disregard for basic security and background checks which have

volunteer? Yep, that was Posobiec, all the way.

Posobiec regularly showcases his access to pro-Trump celebrities (including Donald

functions. Meanwhile, he’s used his OANN platform to hype
smears from the defendant in the Seth Rich lawsuit, as well amplify the wild
conspiracy theory known as QAnon, giving
virulent far-right troll Microchip a platform and taking his
word at face value that he is the anonymous poster known as Q. Microchip is an
anonymous and prolific user of Gab -- the social
media site known for being “haven for white supremacists” -- where he
constantly posts white
supremacist grievances and anti-Semitic and racial
slurs and invites
followers to “fuck shit up” legally by pushing and spreading the
misinformation campaign QAnon.

antisemitic hate. His targets included CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, whose Polish
family survived the Holocaust during World War II. Posobiec also targeted a
group of journalists reporting on a press conference hosted by Peter Thiel.
Three Jewish rights groups – the Anti-Defamation League, the Simon Wiesenthal
Center and Bend the Arc: Jewish Action – described Posobiec’s behavior as antisemitic
or condemned OANN’s relationship to him after Hatewatch reached out for comment

Russian-Influenced Media; The Case of “Russia Today” (RT)
Russia Today, described in the New York Times of January 7,
2017
RT, formerly called Russia Today, was founded in 2005 as part
of the state-owned news agency RIA Novosti. The network describes itself on its
website as the first “Russian 24/7 English-language news channel which brings
the Russian view on global news.” President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia said
the network was created to “break the
Anglo-Saxon monopoly on the global information streams.”
To start with full disclosure, the organization I worked with
for many years had extensive dealings with RT, and their News feed was
considered a major source of ours for the Briefing and Editorial process of our
Weekly news Magazine. The Director of Intelligence for our Publication, I will
identify as Jeff S. so as not to invite difficulties with my former associates.
“Jeff”, who was a friend of ours going back to the 1980’s was a regular
interview guest on RT, and was interviewed on a variety of subjects over time.
It became apparent to us that our organization’s Editorial
and Political line had shifted under the Obama Presidency to verge upon
Right-Wing positions, and we became apologists for the actions of the Putin
Regime. This led to our distancing and eventual resignations with prejudice, and
renunciation of our involvement at the point said organization fully endorsed
the Presidency of Donald Trump.
In 2008, Jeff was a guest on RT and openly endorsed Putin’s
invasion and suppression of Georgia, arguing that he was only acting to defend
Russian Nationals who were victims of oppression by the Georgian government. In
2014, similar arguments were made in defense of Putin’s actions in Ukraine.
Further, it was RT which sponsored a Conference in Moscow in
2015, which included as speakers Jeff, Jill Stein the Green Party Presidential
candidate, and retired General Michael Flynn, who had a seat of honor next to
Putin on the dais. This RT conference was a focal point of the famous “Steele
Report”, by former MI-6 operative Christopher Steele, which as is now known,
got the ball rolling for the Russian Election Interference investigation
leading toward Trump’s campaign in 2016.
The theme of the RT conference (supposedly a 10 year anniversary
“Party”) was essentially “get Hillary”, with the intent of electing Russian
asset Donald Trump. The perspective was to spread Russian “dirt” on Hillary
acquired or fabricated by Russian intelligence, and to divide the Democratic
vote. This strategy included boosting the Progressive vote for Jill Stein, and
to divide the Democratic base through covert means, creating a hostile conflict
between Bernie Sanders, and the presumptive nominee, Hillary Clinton. This was
done through the GRU hacking of Hillary’s emails, and their public release
through Assange and Wikileaks. These damaging emails created the Democratic
division which elected Donald Trump, which was why he personally asked them to
do some more of it.
I discovered later that my former friend and associate was
involved in Russian collusion, along with two other long time associates who
were working to set up a backchannel of communication between our former
organization’s Russian Intelligence contacts and the Trump campaign, through
their association with then Trump Campaign official, Roger Stone, an
association which continues to this day.
When people argue with me about the “Russian Collusion Hoax,
I always have a little chuckle, knowing that my former friends and associates
of 3 decades were very much in the middle of it. In case you are wondering, I
have confirmation that this was all known to Robert Mueller, who for reasons
unknown to me didn’t put it in his report.
So, yes, I know RT very well. It was bookmarked in my News
folder for 5 years.
“Though the network is owned and operated by the Russian
government, its executives say their journalists are independent. One anchor,
however, quit her job during a live broadcast in 2014, after saying she could
no longer work for a network that “whitewashes the actions of Putin.”
“Did RT influence the American election?
“The role of RT in the Kremlin’s effort to influence the
election is covered in more detail than any other part of Russia’s campaign in
the report, released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Friday.

report, the network aggressively uses the internet and social media to conduct
“strategic messaging for the Russian government.” RT videos receive more than
one million views a day on YouTube, according to the report, and the network’s
programming was “aimed at undermining viewers’ trust of US democratic
procedures.”

Gen. Michael T. Flynn, Mr. Trump’s nominee for national security adviser.
General Flynn has appeared repeatedly on RT’s news programs, and in December
2015 the network paid him to give a speech in Russia and attend a lavish
anniversary party, where he sat next to Mr. Putin. General Flynn has since defended
that speech, insisting that RT is no different from CNN or MSNBC.”
“Analysts
say Russia lacks the economic and military power to combat NATO, the European
Union or the United States directly. The country has instead invested in
“weaponized” information, using hacking, propaganda and other means to sow
doubt and division in other countries. The goal is to weaken cohesion among
Western allies, stir discord in their domestic politics and blunt opposition to
Russia.
“Last
year, Swedish
authorities said they traced to Russia a disinformation campaign when
Sweden was considering cooperating militarily with NATO.
“Russian
intelligence agents used a variety of means to spread misinformation. “We mean
everything from internet trolls to propaganda and misinformation spread by
media companies like RT and Sputnik,” Wilhelm Unge, a spokesman for the Swedish
Security Service, said during a speech to that agency last year.”

bedfellows: “The Russian propaganda machine and the western far right”]
“In early August 2008, Russian-backed separatists
in the Georgian region of South Ossetia successfully provoked Georgia’s then
president, Mikheil Saakashvili, into attacking and taking control of the
separatist stronghold of Tskhinvali. On 8 August, Russia launched a war on
Georgia –Moscow called it ‘a peace enforcement operation’ – and won in five
days, concurrently occupying South Ossetia and another Georgian region,
Abkhazia. Russian ultranationalist journalists welcomed the blitzkrieg and some
of them even proclaimed that the war had made Russia a genuinely sovereign
power that could ‘independently determine its politics’ and had ‘the resources
to implement them’.

citizens’. The next day, 21 August, Russia Today interviewed ____ himself, who
suggested that ‘the Georgian assault on South Ossetia [had been] probably a

There are many articles and sources on Russian
influence of US Media, their role in Election interference, and playing Left vs
Right divisions to create political chaos in the US. Their impact is very high
among extreme right organizations and News agencies who circulate in the Trump
Universe, but they are not without influence among Left leaning groups and also
using fake Social Media accounts to create these phony groups in large numbers.
There is a great deal in the public domain which is available to anyone who
wants to do a thorough search. However, my intention is to highlight those
elements which I believe to be strategic, and have strong first or second hand
knowledge of, for purposes of throwing a spotlight on the Russian operations
and their apparatus as a whole.
Part XI
- Summary and Conclusions
In this report, I
have presented the following;
- That
Russia believes it to be in their strategic and geopolitical interest to
either assist in re-electing Donald Trump, or in the absence of that
result, take actions which contribute to sufficient levels of chaos and
violence as to render the US ungovernable under a Biden Presidency.
- That
the “foot soldiers” for such violence would be a hard core distilled force
from among the most disaffected and psychologically damaged members of
Trump’s political base.
- That
there has been an ongoing project by Russian Intelligence, Putin, and
Oligarchs tied to Putin, to assimilate, cultivate, fund, recruit, support,
harbor, and legitimize such organizations and groups which espouse racial
and religious bigotry, or hard line anti-government sentiments, both here
in the United States and in Europe.
- That
the continuing actions of Donald Trump have been based on his commitment
to Autocratic leadership, in defiance of the Constitutional arrangement
and Presidential norms, and driven by a personal desperation to maintain
office.
- That
Trump has embraced and weaponized the Racist and Religious bigotry of the
“Alt-Right, and has been using it to raise the threshold of political
division and conflict nationwide.
- That
there is reason to believe that Trump himself is psychologically or
cognitively impaired, and that his behavior is both erratic and
predictable.
- That
he is under the personal influence of Putin, who he speaks with and asks
advice of frequently, while disregarding the input of his own Intelligence
agencies and advisors
- That
Russian Intelligence has cultivated relationships with Trump’s political
allies, such as the NRA and CPAC, and as well, prominent News Media
outlets such as OAN, and RT, to spread propaganda, and radicalize his
support base.
- That
the Organizations which Putin has influenced among the Extremist groups,
are heavily armed, and have extensive networks and communication.
- That
the actions of Putin to interfere in the US election are driven by Russian
Nationalism and Revanchism, in retaliation for perceived destructive US
policies toward Russia in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet
Union.
Therefore, taking all of this into account, it is of utmost
importance that our National Security apparatus have a clear view of what such
potential impending chaos and violence entails, and what is its actual source.
It is a life and death matter for the United States and our Democratic
Institutions that our Election process, vote counting, Electoral College,
Voting Access, and Public Health be protected to the maximum to ensure a free
and fair Election, and as peaceful and orderly a transition as possible.
Otherwise, we are facing the possibility of Civil War.
Follow The Money to Russia
I posted about Andrew Anglin a month ago. He received a Bitcoin transfer in his Wallet from a Russian speaker with a 25 million dollar account, which was $60,000. This rescued his Nazi Newspaper The Stormer. I took note of this, and the fact that Anglin lived in Russia as a protected asset of the Russian Intelligence services.
Now, we find out that the DOJ is investigating a "mystery transfer" in Bitcoin of $500,000 to the accounts of violent Alt-Right groups in the US, which may have been connected to the Coup attempt on Jan 6th. (Yahoo news article linked below) If the US investigators can establish where this money came from, confirming Russian origin, this blows the lid off of everything.
I can't find words to describe how important this is for pulling out by the roots and destroying the entirety of the violent Alt-Right, White Supremacist militias. I'm not looking for validation, I just want them stopped. This could be the opening we've been looking for. This could be a part of the "shocking" revelations previewed by DC's US Attorney Michael Sherwin on Monday. Here is what I wrote one month ago.--

Andrew Anglin, owner/operator of the Neo-Nazi Website, "The Stormer", is living outside the US to avoid a 14 million dollar judgement for threatening a Jewish Real Estate agent in Montana over a property sale by the mother of Nazi leader Richard Spencer. Anglin and Spencer were deeply involved in the Charlottesville Nazi rally praised by Trump, and celebrated the murder of Heather Heyer.
Anglin, according to this report, ran his Nazi website from Russia while living there under Putin's protection, while running pro-Putin propaganda on his website. When Anglin ran out of money, he received a $60,000 Bitcoin deposit in his wallet from a Russian speaker's 25 million dollar account, rescuing his Nazi rag. Reports indicate he is still there, avoiding the US Court system.
Anglin tried to target the aforementioned Jewish woman and her family for violence. Anglin espouses the violent overthrow of the US Government, and the usual basket of Nazi ideology. He is one of several documented cases of US Neo-Nazi leaders currently operating from Moscow with Putin's backing. He has been profiled in "The Atlantic", dozens of other press, and is helping coordinate plans with Militias and Secessionists for Civil conflict now to overturn the Election of Joe Biden. He is in the news today in regard to efforts to seize his assets to meet the 14 million judgement against him.
So, meet Andrew Anglin. Nazi. Putin operative. MAGA Insurrectionist. One of the likely people organizing hit teams against public officials attacked on Twitter by you know who.
One of Joe Biden's first orders of business should be a phone call to Putin to make an arrangement for extraditing the dozens of fugitive leaders of Nazi and secessionist groups currently under asylum in Russia back to the US and other countries in Europe as a precondition for discussing easing sanctions. Then we treat them as enemy combatants and extract information on their networks and plans, and mop them up.]"
