National Catholic Reporter Demands Vatican Investigation of Fascist American Bishops Attacking Biden

 


This is a noteworthy intervention by the National Catholic Reporter, demanding that the Vatican investigate a renegade faction of the US Catholic Bishop's Conference for it's open espousing of the "deranged and corrupt" policies of Donald Trump, and sympathies with the White Supremacist Insurrection of January 6. 

I've written a few things about the apparent interface between some of the most extreme Right Wing Bishops and the QAnon cult. Also lurking in the background is a titanic power struggle within the Vatican itself, in which the retired Pope Benedict is organizing his own Insurrection against Pope Francis.

Pope Francis is trying to modernize the Church, and clean out the Oligarchy's lapdogs in the Vatican Bank who have looted and stolen laundered money in large scale. Benedict has been intriguing within Vatican circles to force a resignation of Francis, and arrange for an extreme Right Wing reactionary to succeed him. 

Pope Francis has all but disappeared from public view, due to an illness described as sciatica. However, knowing what we know about the history of secrecy in Vatican affairs, I see no reason to give that story credence. There is the possibility that it is more serious, and that the internal struggle underway is actually a succession crisis. 

If so, it is more urgent than ever that Pope Francis' allies in Rome and the US mobilize to suppress the Fascist wing of the American Church currently mobilizing with Trumpism and QAnon, and that the American people mobilize to support and defend the target of the Right Wing Bishops, President Biden. 

Otherwise, this is an excellent polemical article exposing the hypocrisy and lies of the US Bishops, who pretend to be "Pro-Life", yet refuse to condemn Trump personally for his caging and separation of children, expansion of the death penalty, and lies which spread the Pandemic, costing uncountable lives with his narcissistic obsessions for self promotion and power. It's an excellent piece to share with others who might be on the fence. This is a breaking story and significant public statement by a faction of the American Church, which with all of its problems, are allies in the fight against Trumpism.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
