What My Gut Is Telling Me-- Looking through past November after day four of the J6 hearings

All of it speaks to the fact that the US came within 40 feet of a Vice-Presidential assassination, martial law under the Insurrection Act, and an actual bloody Civil War, because of one mentally ill narcissist who happened to become President, who thinks like a mobster, and acts like a KGB agent. One man, and 70 million more in a state of mass psychosis. 

So many are hoping and praying he will be indicted to defend the rule of law. Has anyone considered what's next? You've heard about the dog who chases cars? The question then becomes, "what does the dog do with the car after he catches it"? There is little doubt in my mind that if Trump is indicted he will unleash his heavily armed and violent supporters in a civil conflict. It is also likely Biden will be impeached if there is a GOP majority in the House and Senate, which if nothing else will result in paralysis of the government. 

And what is the Democratic leadership doing about it? We know what the J6 committee is doing, but we need some accountability from the DNC. I have no confidence that their strategy for the mid-terms addresses the danger that we face. What is their plan? Positive messaging? Job statistics? 

There are reports that the Democratic Party is helping extremist Trump Republicans to win Primaries to help fuel a large Democratic turnout in November, which I can post for those interested. They are resorting to gamesmanship and trickery, because they don't know how to organize people in the context of politics as we've known it being no more. 

So, I'm not doomsaying, I'm saying it's a four alarm fire and that we need to shift gears in a hurry. What we are doing is not working, or not enough. If the Democratic leadership has a plan, we need to know what it is. 

As far as I can see, as of now, all they have is the vague hope that a parade of GOP witnesses in the J6 hearings will carve out a voting bloc of moderate Republicans who will crossover in November. Moderate Republicans? These are people who voted for Trump a second time! After nearly a million dead, two Impeachments, and his family stealing 500 million dollars off the Presidency. The term "moderate Republicans" is almost an oxymoron.

This is a bankrupt and failing strategy. Unless there is a course correction and some firings, we may never have another free election after November, because we will have chaos. That's my message.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
