Now We Have The Makings Of A Criminal RICO Case Which Can Ensnare All Of Them, Including Fox News--- The implications of the fundraising scam revelations of potential "wire fraud."


Yes, it is true that those in Trump's orbit who knew it was all a lie did have an obligation to speak out back then, and they didn't. In most cases, they are even now testifying only because they are compelled to under subpoena. 

I think it is important to remember that Trump operates like a "Mob Boss," and uses the threat of blackmail, and/or being subjected to a physical security threat by heavily armed extremists in his base to enforce loyalty oaths. We know what the penalty is for violating "omerta" in organized crime groups.  Others like Barr who are protected members of the establishment are not so easily intimidated, but had their own corrupt reasons to not rock the boat, such as their desire to come back to power under another fascist Republican who is not so mentally unstable as Trump, such as DeSantis or Pompeo. 

This all goes to the point that Trump can never be allowed to come back onto Twitter, as Musk proposes, and it is urgent that those who aided and abetted Trump's criminal conspiracy to illegally seize power such as media figures Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity be de-platformed, along with the worst of Trump's inner circle such as Bannon, Stone, and Don Jr., et al.  Trump's ability to use his favored media to conduct his campaign of lies, threats and intimidation is his main source of leverage, along with outright bribery. 

If there is a serious investigation of wire fraud in respect to Trump's operations to defraud his supporters through an election fundraising scam, then we have the makings of a criminal RICO indictment. The DOJ has used this in the past to go after the Mob "higher ups" who insulated themselves with layers of subordinates to avoid direct accountability for the corrupt orders handed down. And DOJ precedent shows that serious RICO cases can throw out a very large net.

Those individuals who directed the alleged fundraising scam were regular guests on Fox and used their appearances to propagandize for overturning the vote in furtherance of the alleged conspiracy.  Hannity himself was a titled though technically unpaid advisor to Trump's campaign which engaged in the purported fraud. Fox, Hannity, Carlson and others were possible beneficiaries of the fraud through higher ratings, advertising, salary, bonuses, and publicity. 

It is also vitally important that RICO indictments against media personalities who aided and abetted the fundraising conspiracy do not run up against claims of 1st Amendment protection from such charges. And fraud it is, because they all knew that the claim of election fraud was bogus. Therefore, a RICO case could be a first step to breaking the brainwash program of those tens of millions of people who are currently held psychological captives of the "Big Lie." Once Trump loses control of his propaganda machine, he is done.

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
