1. Marjorie Taylor Greene apparently grew up in the most violently racist County in America, Forsythe, right outside of Atlanta. Our old collaborator Rev. Hosea Williams denounced this place as the actual Capitol of American Apartheid, where Blacks were not allowed to even pass through, much less live there up until the late 90's.. Rev. Williams led a March through her hometown in 1987, then 1992, and was almost killed along with his people by a Mob of violent rock and bottle throwing Confederates and Nazis. In 1992, the Courthouse still had a sign out front, "N_____s, keep moving". MTG was in High School in 1992. I'll have more on this.
2. Speaking of Marjorie Taylor Greene, there are rumors that she is planning to start a "Lifestyle Academy," the Conservative Christian Tantric Sex Institute . She is hoping to issue a "release" soon with her plans... three months from now, in order to let the anticipation build.
3. President Biden finally called Bibi Netanyahu yesterday, to congratulate him for having stayed out of jail for so long. The two have known each other for years, of course. Netanyahu was apparently beyond meshuggah over Joe's plans to re-engage Iran. "Joe, how could you do this to me, we gave Jill our recipe for Hummus"?
4. During the height of the Pandemic, The Federal Reserve pumped more liquidity into the financial system every month (to prop up bad paper and finance "stock buybacks") than the entire 780 Billion dollar US Defense budget. Don't tell me we can't afford to write off student debt. Time for a course correction on that one Joe.
5. Hearing lots of reports on the giant "mystery holes" opening up in the Siberian Permafrost. Has anyone recommended searching them for the missing FSB Novichok Underwear Team that fucked up the Navalny assassination?
6. CNN and other media are running "fact checking" articles now after every Biden public appearance. "Biden Makes Four False Claims in Town Hall Meeting". Please, cut this out. What it does is lump Biden in with Trump. At the end of the month, the anal retentive fact checkers will run monthly review articles, "Biden issues 87 Falsehoods This Month", which serves only to make people cynical and believe that "they are all serial liars". If they don't know the difference between an honest factual error and a deliberate malignant fabrication, they don't deserve a Column. I don't hold Joe Biden, a human being, to the same standard algorithm as a racialist psychopathic narcissistic Insurrectionary. Cut Joe some slack. You want to find serial liars, there are 43 of them in the Senate who lie about everything.
7. The Media is describing the new Mars Rover "Perseverance" landing as "Seven Minutes of Terror". I know the feeling, from being stuck in line at CVS with 8 people who all have their stupid Noses hanging out of their masks.
8. Has anyone been paying attention to how Denzel Washington and Viola Davis are reviving the art of Drama with what they are doing to bring the work of great Black playwrights to the screen? This is the best work in film since the heyday of Arthur Miller, Elia Kazan, Tennessee Williams and Clifford Odets.
9. Just a thought now that Tax season is here. A heads up for some of the Evangelical leaders out there...you should not try to write off your "Pool Boy" as a Dependent. That's a red flag, and you will be audited.
10. I don't think that NBA Arenas will be holding a "moment of silence" for Rush Limbaugh before tonight's scheduled games. Maybe have the mascots break out some Hip Hop moves.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. A very low profile. In fact, six feet under. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time. This is no big accomplishment or unique, it's just how I occupy my time and is my form of work these ...
