Rush Limbaugh died today, as most are now aware, finally reuniting his decades long dead soul with his Earthly body. Limbaugh, after a long radio career, inspired the following question. "What's the difference between Rush Limbaugh, and The Hindenburg"? "One is a flaming Nazi gas bag, and the other is just a Zeppelin".
Limbaugh, following in the footsteps of Hermann Goering, (below) was a life long committed obese Fascist Drug addict, who made a fortune for himself by building a political movement to scapegoat "Liberals" and minorities for the decline of "moral values". In the tradition of fascist provocateur and propagandist Josef Goebbels, (also below) there was no lie big enough that he wouldn't go out on the air to spread, in service of his "Leader", Donald Trump, and people like Gingrich and Dick Cheney before him.
He leaves behind the Media legacy and methodology of "whataboutism and false equivalence". This was the tried and true propaganda technique of covering for and diverting from moral and ethical crimes, political corruption, and the mainstreaming of Racism in the so-called Conservative movement, to change the subject to someone else. (as in, "whatabout Hillary, whatabout Obama?..blah blah)
He prided himself on pushing the envelope by issuing thinly veiled and barely legal racist attacks on public figures, enough to give him "linguistic deniability" for maintaining his media presence, while still resonating his racist messaging to his brain dead enraged audience in a way that was loud and clear to them. (Like his racist attack on QB Donovan McNabb which got him thrown off Monday Night Football after two weeks) If someone like Gingrich took flak for demanding his wife sign Divorce Papers while in the recovery room after Cancer surgery, Limbaugh would be Johnny on the spot with a hit piece on the Clintons and how they may have had Vince Foster murdered. He was a pioneer of giving credibility to psychotic tin foil hat conspiracies, all of course eminating from Liberals. When confronted with his own racism, he responded by attacking "Feminazis", a generic term he coined to attack the modern world.
Throughout 35 years of political organizing, it was a law of nature that those people I met who were big Limbaugh fans were so racist, so enraged, and astoundingly ignorant, that they couldn't think their way out of a paper bag, and would never do a thing politically that was beneficial. If Menticide was a punishable Nuremberg crime, then Limbaugh's Cancer would have helped him cheat the Hangman, because he helped destroy the minds of millions of people. He paved the way for Fox News' lying scapegoating racist content, and the legitimization of the Alt-Right in the GOP.
He is survived by a Trailer full of ex-wives, all receiving Alimony but who should be receiving Reparations instead for enduring decades of psychological and emotional abuse, as well as chronic compression injuries due to....well, you know.
He goes to his grave having been awarded the Presidential "Medal of Freedom" from Donald Trump. That will be part of Trump's and Limbaugh's disgusting legacy, right up there with Time Magazine awarding Hitler "Man of the Year" in the late 1930's.
In the meantime, someone just asked me if he will burn in Eternal Hell for all of the hate that he helped to spread through his show. Since I believe in a beneficent and just Creator, I would think he would have a special kind of Hell set aside just for Limbaugh. He could be locked inside an interracial and all gender inclusive Church, forced to listen to Spirituals and Gospel music, and to watch Gay couples marriage ceremonies and celebrations, and condemned to watch children of all backgrounds work on Science projects and the Arts. This will be the most horrible form of Hell for him, which also reminds us that God has a plan for all of us, and that He has a sense of humor too.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
