What Is Actually Wrong With Trump Supporters That Must Be Fixed?

 



Not every Trump supporter is a hard core racist, though they may have racist tendencies and enjoy White Privilige. Many are greedy adherents to the philosophy of "Shareholder Value", in which they adopt the entitled and Social Darwinist view that their money and property is sacred, and granted to them by Divine Providence, Market forces, or their own superior ancestry. 

These are the people who quietly and with subtlety have generated the "Us vs Them" social and cultural conflict. They brand anyone who has a social conscience, and believes in the US Constitutional injunction in it's Preamble to "Promote the General Welfare" as an UnAmerican, Communistic, Socialistic virtual traitor to the US. They believe that their "Leftist enemies", who are too lazy to work, who are "professional victims", are just schemers using Liberal Congressman who believe in "Big Government", to Tax them, to take away what God and their genetics gave them, THEIR SACRED MONEY, to give to those "Godless Liberals" who want to avoid work, and use their tax money to kill babies, buy Dope, and get Sex reassignment surgery. 

That in essence is their belief structure. They believe that Mankind is born in sin, and that the world is run by Satan, so they will keep the Ten Commandments, and tithe to their Churches, just to stay in God's good Graces and keep up their end of the contract with their Pastors. They give to charities to help the poor to assuage their guilt and rack up "Rewards points" for their eventual room reservations in Heaven.  They believe that only the unborn are innocent and have a "Right to Life", therefore any kind of unethical business practice, discrimination, legal injustice against a person who is already born is OK, as long as it is legal. This is why you have the staggering hypocrisy of people who claim to be "Pro-Life" actively supporting the Death Penalty, cutting off health care for the poor, sick, people with pre-existing conditions, or forcing people at risk to go back to work and face covid exposure. They believe that The Right to Life ends at birth.

These people who support Trump are not "Pro-Life". They are anti- the poor, disadvantaged, the victims of economic and judicial injustice. They are "Anti" everything which they think will cost them money, or jeopardize their social status. That is the ugly and unavoidable truth about Trump's base. 

I am aware that many Christians and Jews who identify as "Pro-Life" are sincere in their beliefs, do good works, and have the welfare of others at heart. But, I'll tell you one thing. Those people are NOT supporting Donald Trump. If they are, they are completely blind and deluded.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
