Some Observations on Christian Anti-Semitism-Fundamentalism, QAnon, and Hitler
When you see children being taught to hate, based on a religion supposedly rooted in universal love, it raises some obvious questions, including one asked by a friend, which is, how can Christians preach hatred for Jews, when Jesus their Savior was himself Jewish? This was my response, which Martha suggested that I post.
The Nazis argued that Christ was not a Jew, but an Aryan, who declared war on the Jewish leadership in Jerusalem, signified by Christ kicking over the tables of the Money lenders in the Temple and driving them out with a whip. They believe in the lie that Jews executed Jesus, when in fact it was Pontius Pilate on orders from Tiberius, Emperor of Rome, who then turned around and said they were only caving to pressure from the Rabbis who wanted Jesus silenced. It was the Romans who most feared Jesus' growing ministry. Many oligarchs in history who have done evil things have covered themselves by blaming the Jews. This is where it started. It continues today, with the anti-semitic lies spread by QAnon, Neo-Nazis, and right-wing churches about the historic need for the Crusades, and their spreading of the "Blood Libel." The Jews were scapegoated for Bubonic plague, claiming that they killed Christian babies and drank their blood to survive. This was the justification for the mass murder of Jews by the "Flagellants" during this period. And this is the same methodologically as QAnon's fabricated insanity today, that "leftist" pedophiles are raping and cannibalizing our Babies.
Hitler admired Tiberius, and wanted his own palace on the Island of Capri. Basically, Hitler and Himmler were very big on the occult, and hated Christianity as well. They had to use the anti-semitism still lingering in the churches to drive his recruitment and program, and he used their authority to control the masses. Ultimately, in Hitler's conversations documented in the "Tischegespracht", (Table Talks) Hugh Trevor Roper the British historian documents that Hitler spoke extensively with his inner circle about wiping out Christianity once the time was right, and the Jewish problem was removed. Hitler wanted Germans to return to the aryan/nordic mythologies of the "Thule Cult", which ascribed super powers to pure blooded Aryans. But, while they held power, they promoted their Nazified version of Christianity, called "positive" Christianity, which rejected pacifism and adopted the war on Judaism as its focus, not unlike Trump and his Evangelicals who today demonize "The Left".
