 The Film Made To Incite Terrorist Assassinations Of Democratic Leaders-- "Sound Of Freedom"  The headline of this commentary is my formulation, not that of "The Daily Beast article linked below. No one who writes for a living and has an editor would ever call this what I just did. This piece by Helen Holmes echoes themes which we here have been writing about for several years.  The story is about the new documentary/real life film starring QAnon spokesman Jim Caveziel, called "Sound Of Freedom."  This is an actual QAnon propaganda film, which distorts and uses the real tragedy of child trafficking to cynically manipulate an audience of brain-dead fascist Christian nationalists to believe that Democrats are murdering babies in order to harvest their "adrenochrome," for the purpose of prolonging their own lives.  I Have A "Label" For Joe Manchin-- I'll Use It, But I Might Get Restricted Another Time Just in case anyone thinks that my months long break in covering Senator Joe Manchin means I've grown soft on him, guess again.  I'll restate my personal opinion that he is a narcissistic pile of pro-fascist garbage, doing "cosplay" performance art in Democratic garb, when all he really is is a Republican corporate billionaire-funded, ethically corrupt force of destruction, whose personal mission is to destroy his former friend Joe Biden, and re-install Donald Trump to the Presidency.  Actually, I retract my characterization of him as garbage. I apologize. Garbage, especially when properly recycled, has a productive use, as my wife Martha would be happy to discuss with anyone. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing about Joe Manchin which is either recyclable or potentially useful. Unless one considers sabotage useful.  And it's not true that he has "No Labels....

 Josh Hawley "Comes Out" Of Hitler's Closet-- In this week's news, Josh Hawley dug up a completely fake quote from so-called "founding father" Patrick Henry, asserting that America was founded as an exclusively Christian nation, based on Christian doctrine. The quote came from a decades old Neo-Nazi publication, and Hawley posted it on July 4th.  Hawley wrote: “Patrick Henry: ‘It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason, peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.’” So, to Hawley's resume, you can add Nazi to the long list of his skills and work experience.  Chris Hedges of Salon Acting As Putin Lawyer Pro Bono- (*A kind of introduction to my upcoming article on the strategic threat of Russian-steered third party operations.) This Salon article by Chris Hedges, which is largely a collection of Kremlin talking points on Ukraine, is carefully curated disinformation, which as per standard ID format, includes a pile of truthful facts to make his arguments plausible in the minds of his majority progressive readership, but is at least enough to provoke substantial elements of doubt or outright opposition to US policy among that easily duped ideological strata of left/reactionary knee-jerk populists.  From the time Joe Biden announced his candidacy there has been a vile hate campaign against him coming from this grouping of Russian assets in the left/progressive milleu.
