This article in today's "Guardian" (linked at the bottom) confirms my forecast of August 16, in my Blog Article entitled "The Most Dangerous Implications of The Afghanistan Collapse Which The Media Will Not Cover".  The Guardian's take is spot on and worth the read.

Tucker Carlson, Fox and Friends are doing exactly what I said they would do, which is to use the Afghanistan crisis in a particular form of Nazi style propaganda to fuel the next wave of Insurrection. (the relevant point is that there is a difference between strategic analysis, which I work on, and reporting on news events after they happen)

["The fascist leadership of the GOP and its Trumpian Coup plotters are going to use this failure in the same way they have used the "Big Lie" about the election. The Trump apparatus will channel Adolf Hitler's strategy for mass recruitment of the broken and demoralized German Army Veterans after WWI into armed paramilitaries which evolved into the SA and SS, using the propaganda weapon of "The Stab in the Back". The German right wing "Freikorps"  and the Nazis hard core terrorists were deployed into 10 years of street fighting, terrorism, assassinations and "election interference" to destroy German democracy and the Weimar Republic, concluding with Hitler's 1933 Coup with the Reichstag Fire.

What most certainly will happen now is an escalating campaign to use and manipulate the returned Afghan and Iraq war Veterans, many of whom are Trumpsters, recruited to white supremacist and Confederate groups, enraged at losing their friends, families, job opportunities, limbs, all for nothing now in their eyes. Fox News and other Right Wing media echo chambers will be pounding the drum on "Joe Biden's treasonous stab in the back" in order to incite and organize phase two of Trump's violent insurrection, building to a crescendo on the convergence of the 9-11 Anniversary, and the exploding opposition to mask mandates in response to the Delta variant"].

I encourage my friends to read and share The Rosen Report Blog articles, which I believe are more effective than my Facebook page in engaging people with the big picture. Many folks on Facebook often get "circuit overload" or are looking for memes and shorter pieces, or a break from the stress of daily events. The Blog is there to help people who want to organize others, a kind of road map for the strategic/ political situation. 

The most common response I get to my Blog articles like the one above which is a strategic overview is, "I think you are right, but I hope you aren't", or later in revisiting it ask "how did you know"?  The answer to the second question is, "I don't know. I just did".

I have some plans for taking the Blog into "Prime Time" and I'm going to ask a number of friends out there to give me some input, guidance, and maybe a little time. I've been keeping my circulation close among friends, and friends of friends for two years. Now that I'm retired and living in Mexico, I can take the brakes off and relaunch it in a larger way.

I feel that the current period of crisis surrounding the White House, combined with the internal domestic terror and Pandemic threat means that I can't afford to lay out on the Beach, eating Ceviche and drinking Corona Light, "sin Limon"  for the next six months. So, I'll be around, and will be back with details on some ideas and input I'm getting. Thanks for reading. Now go have some Tums.  😎

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
