Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at his public press campaign event this week claimed that the covid virus may have been "ethnically charged," meaning deliberately bio-engineered to target people by race. He claimed that Ashkenazy Jews and Chinese were to be spared by whoever created this race-specific virus. This is unsurprising, since so much of his warped psycho-world belief system is QAnon aligned.
QAnon is a resurrected version of the 14th Century Flagellants, a self-mortification blood cult which was spun out of the bowels of the Church and roamed from town to town during the period of Bubonic plague, scourging themselves with nail studded whips until nearly dead. The Flagellants claimed that Jews created the disease as a curse, and that God allowed it as punishment for their sins, and the Jews survived it because they kidnapped and murdered Christian babies and drank their blood as a cure. Consequently, they conducted mass murder against Jews, burning them alive and throwing them down wells. This was the continuation of a centuries old "big lie" which was the infamous "blood libel," a signature conspiracy theory of most every serious anti-semitic movement over the next 600 or more years, from the pogroms of the Russian Czars to the Nazis.
Like the historically leading anti-semitic extremists in the Catholic Church, and the monstrous fundamentalist followers of Jew hater Martin Luther, this "blood libel" emerged out of the biggest of all "big lies," that it was the Jews alone who demanded the crucifixion of the Christian "Savior," the ex-Jewish rabbi Jesus of Nazareth, not the officials representing the Roman Empire system which was administering Jerusalem and the surrounding region.
A cult which believed that Jews alone murdered the Son of God through slow torture would believe anything, including that the mass murder of Jews was justified during times of plague.
During the 20th Century, among the leading anti-semites in the US government who actively worked in support of peace with Hitler and to block Jewish refugees from fleeing Europe to locations of relative safety was Joseph P. Kennedy Sr., the father of Joseph Jr., John, Robert Sr., Ted, and the rest. (Unfortunately, Joe Jr. shared the pro-Hitler views of his father. Ironically, he died an American hero in a suicide mission fighting the Germans over the English Channel) He was directly associated with the pro-Hitler faction of the Catholic Church and the Vatican, especially in the "America First" movement headed by Father Charles Coughlin.
Joseph Kennedy actively worked against Franklin Roosevelt's personal diplomacy to organize an effort to increase Jewish immigration during his time as US Ambassador to England. He also opposed the "Lend Lease" program to arm Britain in anticipation of Hitler's near certain plans to invade and seize control of the British Navy, with which he would try to conquer the world. This is why he was fired by FDR.
RFK Jr., unlike his father, uncles, and cousins is a raving anti-semitic cultist in the tradition of his grandfather, one who is literally now openly promoting a modern version of the "Blood libel" of the 14th Century "Black Death" era. This is why he personally associates with Nazi/synarchist Catholics such as Steve Bannon, and QAnon aligned traitor Michael Flynn. He is the entire opposite of his father Bobby Kennedy, who like his brothers John and Ted consciously rejected the outlook of their Nazi-sympathizing father. However, the deeply cynical and malignant narcissist RFK Jr. has no compunction about trading on his family name to espouse ideas which others in his famous family repudiated through their words and deeds.
Those in mainstream media or social media platforms who characterize him as just another obscure "nut" are as ignorant and blind as were the early 20th century pundits who brushed off the rabble-rousing former vagabond from Austria Adolf Hitler as just a "Beer Hall clown," not as the incipient threat to world civilization that he would soon become.
"Oh, but he could never win, look at the polls" say the smug idiots who want to dismiss him as a "nothingburger." Well, in 1928, Hitler's Nazis won 2% of the German vote, and four years later he was appointed Chancellor. What happened during those four years? The Great Depression, and the descent of a third or more of the war damaged German population into mass psychosis, which followed in the aftermath of a five year long world war, a global Influenza pandemic which killed tens of millions, left vs right armed paramilitaries engaging in widespread street warfare, shortages and mass starvation, and hyperinflation of the Reichsmark.
Of course, a majority of American pollsters and pundits, political consultants and "news hounds" mostly live in the moment and rely on sense perception, "headline grabbing" and extrapolations of empirical data, and rarely anticipate these kinds of earth-shattering crises which allow for the rise of dictatorships. They are often well-read but anti-subjective "know-nothings," self-assured in their own arrogance and dismissive of anyone who challenges their career path, expertise, or status. And history has compiled a long list of those idiots who "whistled past the graveyard" in the face of impending existential catastrophes because they are either academic egomaniacs or technocrats. And they think they know better than everyone else what is true, including the fact that RFK Jr. has no standing in the polls which might indicate he is in any way a serious threat to Biden or the US, because he is just a "fringey nut."
Stick with that line, and then you'll be able to answer your own question as to whether history repeats itself. It does not.
People who should know better, who should have learned by now, keep repeating the same stupid mistakes in judgment. And we all know the reasons why.
