Never Underestimate The Factor Of Insanity In Politics--

What I wrote about are scenarios, simply to put something out there and let it sink in that there are people in power at the highest level who are reminiscent of the interrelated royal houses of Europe leading up to World War I, who plunged nations into bloody destruction and chaos by miscalculation, because they were morally and intellectually degenerate.

The secondary leaders allowed World War I to happen because loyalty to these rulers, defending their "systems," borders, colonies, family fortunes, resources, all came before the welfare of their people, whose lives were wasted and cities destroyed in five years of trench and mechanized warfare.

WWI was preceded by numerous smaller conflicts, and beginning in 1865 with Lincoln's murder, 33 leaders of government, including two more American Presidents, several Kings and one Czar, Queens, Dukes, Princes, Prime Ministers, etc, were assassinated, ending with the Hapsburg's Archduke Ferdinand and his wife at Sarajevo which triggered WWI. That number is accurate btw, and does not include numerous failed attempts on other leaders like Queen Victoria and Czar Alexander II.

Political assassination has always been part of the oligarchy's toolkit, a leading feature of great power conflicts, which unfortunately have been consigned to the "lone nut" theories of academic morons who argue that any contrary view is the product of  "paranoia." Who really believes that the world became embroiled in history's bloodiest conflict because the Kaiser was upset at his cousin the Czar over the murder of his representative in the Balkans by a lone nut? One guy and his wife, killed by another guy, supposedly acting on his own was the cause of that?

And after they fought this bloody war the Treaty Of Versailles peace agreement was designed to destroy Germany, creating the conditions for the rise of fascism and yet another world war.

My point? None of us knows what will happen. We can only speculate as to their thinking. But the bottom line is that we are very, very naive if we believe that establishment leaders know what they are doing just because they are members of it.

The politicians are for the most part technocrats and gofers, who operate based on ideologies that reflect the interests of competing factions of the establishment. Even in the cases of the better ones, there are very few original thinkers among them. They are mostly trained in law, which means ethics prevails over morality, precedent over principle, procedure over necessity, and the false belief is perpetuated that the often cited "rule of law" itself is the main guarantor of justice, as opposed to the long term development of the people's full intellectual and moral potential through education and science.

People want to believe that the ruling establishments have learned something from the tragedies of the 20th Century. Well, they did. But those leaders have died off, and the leaders who have replaced them are in the majority increasingly incompetent and lacking in judgment. I'm sorry, it is true, and I don't care if you "like" them. They fall short in leadership with only a few exceptions. And they fall short because you let them. The proof of this is that we are where we are.

Aside from being a good person and a traditional Democrat Joe Biden's strongest attribute is his age, whereas many believe the opposite. He is one of the post war leaders who didn't forget what we learned from the horrors of the 20th Century.

What people don't want to consider is that it's not just one establishment guy gone rogue, Trump, who is insane, who got into the Presidency on a fluke, and used it to corrupt a lot of people.

Like in Europe before WWI, a whole faction of the world's leadership is insane or incompetent. That is why some of them believe we need a period of chaos, a form of bloodletting to get rid of the old world and bring in their new version of utopia.

So they picked a chaos agent who they wrongly believed could be managed to start the process. That is the actual ugly truth as to why we have Trump, not because of Russia, or the million and one "isms" which people love to complain about. The failure to face this reality is one made out of fear, and the feeling of being powerless to change anything, not for any rational or objective reasons. Trump's very existence is symptomatic of our increased distance in time and memory from the events leading up to and after World War II.

Getting rid of Trump is just one way they could start the fire. I only wrote about it because Carlson gave voice to it, and whatever he is, he speaks for his handlers. To think he is a free agent is more of the same wishful thinking, as if him disappearing from the internet would somehow "fix" his audience. He is controlled by multiple interests, but he is a creation of his audience, not vice versa. Trump, Carlson, Murdoch, and Musk could all be beamed up tomorrow and it would solve very little, because it doesn't fix the systemic and cultural failures that allowed their rise to power.

But what if something happened to Obama, our first black president? Can you imagine the chaos then? It almost happened recently after Trump tried to incite it. Was the guy incited a  "lone nut" or a guided missile? Who are the real paranoids in the mainstream media? They are the "experts" who subscribe to the counterculture theory of history, "shit happens."

So when we try to outguess what these malign actors might do at their worst, we always make the mistake of projecting onto them some kind of rational thinking, both of their motives, or their planned for outcomes. Just because they are successful, wealthy, have education and power doesn't mean they are sane. We make the mistake over and over of letting the drunk driver have the keys, and hoping they get us home safely because they claim they've never had an accident.

What I wrote could be described as a "conspiracy theory." In a way it is, but I prefer to call it a scenario. The intelligence community does a lot of this for reasons of contingency planning, to provide options for policymakers. They prepare for many things that have yet to happen, and likely never will, because it is their job. A lot of it is based on psychological profiling of world leaders. To do it in a useful way, we need to take into account a lot of factors in play which are dynamic in nature, not static. There is no way to impose a linear statistical model for understanding individual human or social behavior, which is subjective.

Many of our big head leaders belong to the cult of game theory, and AI is their new God. Many believe the next generations of software and information technology hold the solutions to humanity's problems. But they live in a bubble. And therefore many of the most oblivious or indifferent believe that technology and cultural barbarism can co-exist, as was the case in Nazi Germany. Many establishment leaders in the US think fascism was a great system, but that Hitler ruined everything by going too far. They want a cleaned up version of it for today to manage things, and they see information technology as key to the social and political control they want, in the same way that IBM pioneered their work with computer systems in Nazi Germany to track people, events, and government functions.

So, again, I've been saying that we have to do three things. Make sure we have the best outcome for the 2024 election, which is a Democratic landslide behind Joe Biden. Make sure that there IS a 2024 election. And make sure there is a movement which emerges out of the whole process which can stand for principles that empower people to resist our current descent into violence and barbarism, which is where we are headed now.

We need to know our enemies. And to know ourselves. Information without self-consciousness is sterile, empty, and does no work. We are bombarded with information on a daily basis which we try to process to the extent possible. But what if we already have the information we need in order to intervene effectively? All that is required then is that we make subjective changes in ourselves to accomplish something. It's toward helping others do this that I take the time to write about the things that I do. Change can be the best thing, rather than something to fear. Let it happen.
