British PM Liz Truss To Her Finance Minister- "You Are Fired For Promoting My Program!"

Yesterday Chancellor of the Exchequer Kwasi Kwarteng became new Prime Minister Truss' personal "Quasimodo" of Victor Hugo's "Hunchback" fame, put in chains and carried through London's financial district to be pelted with garbage and blamed for the hideous program announced by his own boss at 10 Downing Street, only 37 days into their fiasco of a government.

Unbelievably, (and I say that with a stiff upper lip while LMFAO) he is gone, after putting forward the demented proposals of his long-time political patron Truss, whose program for eliminating the "top rate" level tax for the richest people, removing all limits to bonuses for bankers, guaranteeing energy prices, and the elimination of whole varieties of taxes on businesses, makes Marie Antoinette look like a socialist Settlement House worker serving cake to poor and homeless immigrants in New York City's early 20th Century "Hell's Kitchen." 

What does this mean? Well, possibly it is a harbinger of both the sheer lunacy of what to expect from the other extreme right governments and parties of Europe, such as that of Giorgia "Melanoma" in Italy, whose near-term crash and burn is expected to arrive as efficiently on time as Mussolini's famous trains. The big unanswered question is, will Giorgia's Matarese Circle-jerk of a coalition government collapse faster than Truss' "Quasi-economic" plan and government? 

If history serves to remind us, such attempts by governments to ram programs of fascist economic austerity down the throats of their own people often lead to celebratory parades for those leaders, just like Mussolini, who with his Mistress took one last trip through Italy's streets all "Trussed up," recipients of their citizens overflowing energy, and outfitted in the style of the "swingers" which they were. 

So the "word from above," or message from the gods in merry old England, was to pull the plug on PM Truss' plan by throwing her economic bell-ringer to the mob, and trying to avert a very untidy revolution in the streets before King Chucky even gets a chance to try out his new royal beanie and comfy chair. We couldn't have that, wouldn't look very proper, would it? 

Conclusions? The brain dead morons, ideologues and professional larcenists of the US GOP, their think tanks, lobby groups, campaign organizations and spokespersons should take careful note, and be reminded that UK economic policy in the post-war era has always been a kind of lab experiment, trying out on their own population formulas which were then exported to the US and tried out here, with similar results. Think Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan as an example. 

If the soon to be "Trussed up" GOP continues pushing their psychotic "11 point plan" of Rick Scott's, they might earn themselves a few parades as well, but likely won't be kept "hanging around" for very long.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
