From One Year Ago Today-- Why William Barr Wouldn't Help Trump Overturn The Election



This short statement was my response to a question asked on one of my Facebook posts on Trump's Coup attempt. 

["A dear friend asked me a question which is, I'm sure, on other people's minds to a degree. 

"What's going on with Barr, why isn't he backing Trump's attempt to overturn the election, since he surely doesn't believe in the greater good"?,  to paraphrase. Here was my response.

 Martha and I talked about it, that's a great question. You are 100% correct, Barr does nothing for the greater good. He is a hard core Right Wing garden variety fascist, of the extreme pseudo Catholic variety, a modern day version of the Spanish Inquisition's Torquemada. 

As a leader of the Federalist Society he is committed to imposing dictatorship under the synthetic doctrine of "Originalism", which is the parallel in Constitutional Law with extreme Religious Fundamentalism. They use the literal (but falsely represented) interpretation of text to deconstruct the intention of the Constitution's Framers to mainly attack the General Welfare Clause of its Preamble, and return the US to a Monarchical dictatorship in the hands of Oligarchy. Barr represents the interests of financial Oligarchs who want to dismantle the essential functions and protections for the people by the Federal government. 

So, why has Barr pulled the rug out from under Trump's attempt to subvert the election? Because he and his controllers are afraid that Trump is too unstable, too  reckless, too personally corrupted, too legally and financially compromised, and lastly, so big a generator of chaos, that he is destabilizing and a liability to the Oligarchy itself. 

The strategy of Oligarchs has always been to use the "frog in the pot of boiling water" method of hollowing out our institutions and traditions to get us used to a gradual creeping Dictatorship. Trump is out of control, a literal Frankenstein's Monster who is now a danger to the very people who created his Presidency.

 The Oligarchy wants Dictatorship but they don't want to rule over a population of the sick and dying due to covid, which is so economically deprived so quickly that they are prone to revolutionary ideas. So, Barr's pulling the plug on Trump now is a "message from Olympus" that the Oligarchs are making a tactical retreat, and reconfiguring some new cleaned up Trump version 2.0 for 2024, who is equally as much a fascist, but less unstable, less ugly, without a disgusting corrupt evil family, seemingly more "Democratic" on the surface, less open about their racism and disdain for working people, who is more "marketable" in selling the American people "Fascism with a Democratic Face". 

Barr's controllers in the Right Wing of the US Establishment are conceding ground in order to come back to fight another day. They got what they wanted out of Trump, used him to install 200 fascist Judges on the Federal bench and SCOTUS, and now they are prepared to throw him out like a Bic lighter. Trump's damage to our Constitution and system of law thanks to Barr and McConnell allows them to  walk away with what they wanted, declare victory,  and allow Americans the illusion of "going back to some kind of normal".]

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. A very low profile. In fact, six feet under. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time. This is no big accomplishment or unique, it's just how I occupy my time and is my form of work these ...
