A Retrospective On Last Year At This Time-

As you may have noticed, I'm taking the opportunity of posts popping up in my Facebook "memories" to revisit the last year or two, and put our current situation in perspective. Also, frankly, I'm using them to establish my bonifides for those insiders who casually follow my writings since officially I have no credentials, other than my track record. I have no "blue check" or author's tag, no byline in any news service. Nevertheless, I will keep trying to get their ear.. 

Starting in April of 2020, I discussed my assessment with my wife Martha that the hard core "Alt-Right" Neo-Nazi Militias were influenced heavily by Russian Intelligence, and that they were deployed either to prevent or disrupt the 2020 election, or stage an armed Rebellion afterward to help Trump overturn the result. 

Martha had dug up some valuable material on the matter and pushed me very hard to write up what we had and get it to the circles around the Biden Campaign. 

I began acquiring sources and filling out the picture, but for weeks I dragged my feet in writing it due to writers block, and hesitation about putting "crosshairs" on ourselves. 

It was Trump's threat to use the 1807 Insurrection Act during the National protests after George Floyd's murder in May of 2020 which brought together the whole scenario in my mind, and also forced me to get to work. At that point I had my "gestalt" on the various operations that might be run by Trump and his team, as well as by Putin's "Fifth Column" on his behalf. And as much as I did not want to invite the stress and health problems associated with my return to political "active duty", I plunged ahead. 

I started writing in June-July, and published it in stages here on Facebook, beginning in August of 2020. The 12 Part 45 page dossier "Trump's Really Good People..." was released in full early in September 2020, and Martha and I began circulating it in both hard copy and electronic form to Democratic organizations, elected officials, election integrity specialists at think tanks in DC, and organizations like the Lincoln Project and the Brookings Institute with ties to the Biden advisory group. Civil Rights groups were contacted, and we dropped off copies to several constituency leaders in the Philadelphia area, especially because of the Bidens ties to our area. Also I had dialogue with nationally significant investigative journalists who I also knew were connected to Biden and Obama, many of whom I'm still in touch with. 

Additionally, Martha wrote up and printed an in depth dossier on the corruption and conflict of interest of Postmaster General Louis Dejoy, and his intent to wreck the Postal System to sabotage the mail-in vote. We went to Post offices throughout our area to distribute them and rally support for the postal workers, and enlisted friends in doing the same. 

After Biden won and was certified, there were two problems I ran into. With exceptions, most sane Americans were both euphoric and exhausted, and were wishing Trump out of their lives and gearing up for the holidays. Second, those who were still mobilizing to defend the vote were focused almost exclusively on fending off the legal challenges by Trump. Not that they should have ignored that side of course. But I warned them that Court challenges by his nutcase team of attorneys filing frivolous cases with zero evidence was never his end game. 

I told them that Trump was prepared to start a Civil War to use the state of emergency to hold power, or seize it back, just as he still is. And lastly that Russia was up to their neck in it, because of their strategy of embroiling the US in chaos. There were other voices warning of this who were on the inside, such as former Colin Powell aide de camp Col. Larry Wilkerson. The military was highly attuned to the threat of a Coup. Liz Cheney and her Father organized a full page ad and statement after the election by all living Secretaries of Defense that the military will never be used to determine an election result, and would respect its role and history as apolitical. 

Biden himself was distracted and furious at his inability to get cooperation on the transition and had no access to actionable intelligence on what threats were being organized leading up to the Inauguration. And he was preoccupied with the vaccine rollout. 

Every attempt by Biden to get cooperation on the Vaccine was stymied by the Trump team, because they wanted it to be a disaster which they could then blame on Biden. This proved the point which some of us had been making, that "Operation Warp Speed" was only important to Trump as an "October Surprise" to win re-election, and once he had lost, he didn't give a damn about it. 

So, like a broken record, I'll continue to obsess about two things. The Russian involvement must be brought out and highlighted. America's Neo-Nazi leadership has been in Putin's pocket since 2012, when Putin returned to the Russian Presidency. And lastly, Merrick Garland must assert the rule of law as it applies to the planners and organizers of January 6, if the US is to remain viable as a Constitutional Republic. Otherwise we are facing a cycle of violence and disintegration which is unfathomable. 

And just like last year, I am running into "holiday-itis" and general denial. Most people don't want to think about this. 

Therefore those of us who do want to intervene have a special responsibility to make something happen. 

Congress returns to their districts for holiday recess soon. Call their local offices. See if you can get a face to face meeting with them or an aide. Don't bother leaving messages on their message centers, since that adds up to zero unless you have numbers in the hundreds or thousands. Email goes into the electronic "circular file" folder. Go personally with others to local town meetings and public events they have scheduled and intervene, tell them to hold Garland's feet to the fire. He must indict Steve Bannon as a signal to all of the Trump operatives who have been subpoenaed to force their cooperation.. Your Congressman must be pushed to begin proceedings to expel the "Nazi Caucus" of the GOP who were involved in the January 6 Coup. Trump's White House staff and the DOJ officials he conspired with must be indicted. Bad actors like Roger Stone and Michael Flynn must be charged. There are many issues to discuss with them, but these mentioned above are in my view strategic. Don't get sidetracked. 

I'll work on some things too. Maybe if Joe gets motivated enough, the US government will use its power of forfeiture to confiscate in their entirety the criminal financial assets of Vladimir Putin, currently ensconced in offshore Banks in South Dakota, Delaware, our Territories and other US properties involving Real Estate and brokerages through Putin's straw men. I don't know precisely what mechanisms could be used, but let's go after Putin's personal money which is within the reach of US law enforcement. Hit Vlad and his Oligarch cutouts where it hurts. Its almost like seizing GOP money,, a nice side benefit. That's for a start. And have fun. We sure as Hell will. 

That would be a nice way to bring in the holidays, no?
