Steve Bannon Getting His Wish-- MAGA Martyrdom, Deflecting Investigation of Role of Russia In Trump's January 6th Insurrection.

Let me provide a brief reminder of who Steve Bannon is, now that he is likely going to be charged with criminal contempt of Congress. 

I'll begin by mentioning that it is unfortunate that there has been virtually no discussion of the well established fact that Bannon has functioned as a Russian Intelligence asset for some time, and may actually be an agent of influence. Robert Mueller was made aware of Bannon's meetings in Rome in 2018 with Aleksandr Dugin, the leader of the ultra-Nationalist Fascist movement of Russia, long time GRU Agent, and Putin loyalist. Dugin and Bannon represented a backchannel of co-operation between Russia and the American and European "Alt-Right" and Neo-Nazi organizations. 

These groups, allied with QAnon, have in the last year and a half been increasing their footprint in the extreme right-wing parties of Europe that echoed the Trumpian themes of stopping immigration and resisting public health measures for covid. It is documented that Russian Banks were funding European fascist Parties such as LePen in France, and the Russian FSB influencing the German AfD. 

The Russian government has provided asylum and logistical support for American Neo-Nazi and Secessionist leaders, and Bannon is hands on involved with these networks. The transnational role of Russian Intelligence in influencing directly the right-wing terror groups that organized and carried out January 6 is known and documented, yet you have heard not one word of this in the coverage of the Select Committee investigation. This is why I must ask, "what do you really expect to result from this investigation?"

There is much more I could say about Bannon. He is right in the middle of Vatican intrigues to undermine or remove Pope Francis, working to foment a schism much as he is doing against President Biden here. He is a charismatic Catholic fanatic. Contempt of Congress charges are what he wants. It makes him a political martyr for MAGA, and the center of attention. He will give up nothing.

This is why I say that the role of Russian Intelligence and Putin directly in attempting to disrupt the election by using the violent alt-right, leading to the events of January 6, must be publicly aired and a renewed focus of the investigation. Otherwise this Committee is just churning out pre-election theater and talking points, and we are headed to Hell.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
