Regarding the Netflix Series, "The Squid Games"

 



Mindless and souless morally dead millennial writers are couching this series as a satirical critique of Capitalism with some sort of redeeming message. 

Let me be clear. The 100's of millions of people who are absorbing this toxic garbage as entertainment and art are themselves participating vicariously in an act of mass serial murder, sadistic torture, a bloody cannibal fest of blood, gore, and individual annihilation so self degrading and debased as to represent an act of something worse than public gangrape and beheadings, if it is possible metaphorically to behead oneself and others with their TV remote control. It is not legitimate Horror or dystopian fiction. It is a Snuff Film for TikTok'ers.

As an aside, growing older, just having a brush with mortality, and a lifetime of learning the various ways in which people lie, I can write and say anything I think needs to be said, without blinking.  So I will. 

Do not tell me that Squid Games is only a kind of genre of Korean or Asian film if you are trying to defend watching it and enjoy it. You are embracing and luxuriating in the culture and modernist high-tech visual universe of Auschwitz, while stuffing your face with Popcorn. 

Those who actually enjoy watching this have in my view forfeited any right whatsoever to comment anywhere about politics, their so-called concerns about Trumpism, Facebook, religious bigotry, racism, sexism, or any other "ism", because they are worse. Those who would call this "entertainment" are themselves actors in a soul destroying war of nihilistic assault on human dignity and the potential progress of the humanity as a whole. Don't even try to argue that this is acceptable social commentary. It is not a warning, it is a scenario for the kind of global death camp world that the Oligarchy intends to impose on us. They are bragging on what they plan to bring into existence. Netflix is not a voice of opposition to this kind of dystopian future. Netflix in this case IS the dystopia.  

It is as if a huge segment of the human race has chosen freely to jump naked into a toxic sewer with mouth and eyes wide open, swallowing as they swim, and then complains the next day of stomach pains and infection. It is a self-immersion into the most hateful, cynical, mind destroying exercise of rejection of the good, that it is in fact a form of moral suicide and homicide, so sadistic and evil that it calls into question whether modern society deserves to wipe itself out or not.

So, you can call this my "review". Don't consider it an attack on the writers and filmmakers. This is an attack on the audience which has made it a hit, from me, personally.  I just wanted to make sure that I'm not ambiguous on the matter.  The things which are now acceptable as entertainment are most certainly going to bring upon us a real life horror which will be worse than even this piece of "fiction".  Force yourselves to look at what we are becoming, and deal with it.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
