Why Joe Biden Must Dump Bipartisanship And Declare War On the Insurrection--

["I'm tired of hearing the term "voter suppression." It's not just that. It's election "cancellation." The GOP is legislating the framework for "legally" overturning election results by state legislatures, not just making it harder to vote. I am thoroughly disgusted with the lame and superficially objective mainstream language our media chooses to use in describing what we are living through. 


This strategy of the GOP consists of policies which your "centrist" Democrats like Manchin and Sinema are conceding to the Trump-led obstructionists by refusing to reform the fillibuster in the name of "bipartisan cooperation."  Corporate shill Manchin is reminiscent of the German politicians who enabled Adolf Hitler by choosing to mediate a center path between the Nazis and the various Christian and Catholic center/right parties in Germany, who felt they were defending their interests among the army, farmers, Industrialists, churches, and old German aristocracy. Out of the sheer terror of Hitler's thugs, blindness, or just ambition, they chose to collaborate with the Nazis while deluding themselves they could remain independent from them. They opened the door for all that followed, and in the end were all chewed up and spit out.  


People forget that Hitler's Nazis never won a majority in a free election, and came to power as a minority government in a coalition with the other parties. Of course, Hitler was unhappy at having to share power, and had his henchmen set fire to the Reichstag and blamed it on his own "Antifa" of the day, the German Communist Party. This was his pretext for banning parliament, declaring a state of emergency, and imposing rule by decree, actions which came within weeks of Hitler's appointment by President von Hindenburg as Chancellor in 1933.


The Trump inner circle and their neo-fascist collaborators today are not trying to come back to power just by rigging elections. They are using their GOP lackeys to merely create that appearance. Their actual strategy is to be reinstated through a violent coup, a coordinated campaign of Insurrection through right-wing terror and urban conflict to produce a state of emergency. The GOP leadership thinks they are using Trump to steal elections and return to power through controlling the vote. Trump is in fact using the GOP as his "beard", going through the motions of pushing for electoral victories, when his real end game is to come back to power through Insurrection, or a "legal" coup. You are kidding yourselves if you believe otherwise. The mechanics of a second Trump coup, while vague, can only occur in the context of the unmitigated chaos and paralysis of the government which augers after a 2022 GOP election sweep.


If the GOP achieves Congressional majorities in 2022, we should be prepared for an orchestrated replay of January 6 on much larger scale in which the now Trump controlled GOP attempts to overturn the "2020" election result and restore him to the Presidency through extra-legal means. Whether this succeeds or not is secondary to the chaos which their actions will unleash in attempting it. Unthinkable? Well, ask yourselves, what else has happened in the last six years that was "unthinkable?" 


Everything we are seeing with Trump's revenge driven purges and takeover of his party, combined with his elevation of Nazi thugs and broken lackeys to leadership positions, points in this direction. Look at the collection of fascist garbage which Trump is inviting to meet with him at Mar-a-Lago. Why do you think Trump just deployed 120 of his loyal retired Generals and Admirals to write and publish a signed Op-Ed claiming Biden stole the election and is demented?  Why do they continue to defend "The Big Lie?"  Why do you think they are rewriting what happened on January 6th? Because they are planning a lot more of them, that's why. 


This is why Joe Biden must immediately abandon this futile and senseless attempt at bipartisanship. He is living in the past, trying to share power and collaborate with something which has degenerated into a political "ultimate evil."   


It's time for Joe Biden to use the full constitutional powers of the presidency to put down this growing Insurrection, in the spirit of Abraham Lincoln.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
