Mother Jones article on Trump As "Russian Weapon vs US" Misses Forest For the Trees

This "Mother Jones" article (link below) is a fairly decent overview of Trump's history as a "Russian weapon aimed at the US". There's nothing new here, but its useful to see his history of treason summarized succinctly in one place.

The article neglects coverage of the 6 year campaign by Putin to commandeer and deploy a growing Neo-Nazi militia movement here to unleash Left vs Right chaos on behalf of Trump. (A fact which is now being documented by the US Attorneys and FBI investigating the Capitol attack) It omits Trump's cover up and suppression of investigations into Russian bounties for KIA's of US Soldiers, and arming of the Taliban. As we know, everytime a Russian intelligence attack on us occured, (or against Democracy activists like Navalny) Trump would intervene to squelch the investigation, or misdirect the blame to China or Iran.

Its inaccurate to say that Trump's "collusion" was only about Trump. It was a transactional relationship, as befits that of a State actor and its asset, in which Trump provided services to Russia in exchange for dirt on his political enemies. He was not simply a beneficiary of Putin's largesse.

The attempt by Trump to install Civil servant appointees at the 11th hour in highly sensitive National Security posts is likely an attempt to bury any high value Intelligence or investigations of the full scope of that that collusion.

It is urgent that Biden's team dig into this as a top priority. There resides the keys to disabling the Fascist paramilitaries which were deployed against the Capitol on Jan 6, and which are planning a wave of anti-government terrorism as we speak.
