Trump's Mental Illness; The Modern Version of Shakespeare's King Lear

When I was in politics, (no details today) I worked for an outfit whose boss had Dementia for over 8 years while still running everything. It was like being in a real life version of Shakespeare's Play, King Lear, in which nearly everyone was conspiring, backstabbing, and lying to get the keys to the Kingdom, until he was finally removed from control. The Court politics and insanity I saw everyday is exactly the dynamic that I see with this White House. It is rife with signature events which I recognize immediately as almost an exact replay. Everything the White House is doing is an attempt to cover up Trump's Cognitive impairment, while maintaining their power and illusion of being in control. It's completely out of their control, his mental health is so bad that they are reduced to spinning what he says after the fact. Each among the family are trying to outdo the other in their slavish propitiation to show they are more loyal than the others. Same with the appointees. Don't ask me who the Jester is, there's not a one of them that is remotely witty.
