1914, Serb Assassin Gavrilo Princip shoots and kills the Archduke Ferdinand of Austria, which triggers the German and Russian Military mobilizations leading to WWI.
1919, Treaty of Versailles signed ending WWI, a Treaty so punitive in its conditions against Germany, it sows the seeds for the rise of Hitler and WWII.
Imagine that on the same date, only 5 years apart, two events occurred which led to World Wars in the 20th Century. Is there a common thread running through these two events?

One of the biggest frauds in History is the so-called "lone assassin" theory. People who believe in this, and reject out of hand the existence of conspiracies simply have no understanding of how the World works, and spend their existence curled up in the Fetal position, hiding in their little comfort zones, trying to avoid the implications of their own myopia.
Princip belonged to a secret society called the "Black Hand", which was organized and funded by British Intelligence. The British had a long standing geopolitical interest in fomenting a European "Family Feud" between the Royal Houses of Russia and Germany. The expansion of heavy industry and railroads by the Germans, which included potential collaboration on a Berlin to Baghdad Railway was a mortal threat to British control of commerce and maritime power through their Navy, control of the Suez Canal, the Horn of Africa, and the Indian Ocean. The continued control of their Milk Cow, British India depended on preventing development of overland transportation which would be faster and more efficient than maritime shipping. The region in the Subcontinent of India was largely unaccessible overland, except through the famous Khyber Pass, and was mainly accessible by British controlled ports. The development of a rail system into the Middle East was a threat to British monopoly on trade through their control of the Sea lanes and Naval choke points. The various intrigues to start a Russo-German conflict were set into motion by Edward the VII, and carried through by his successor, George V. This, they accomplished by exacerbating conflict in the historically East-West divided region of the Balkans, starting a Civil War. Remember, Eastern Orthodox Serbia was seen historically as Russia's "Little Brother" in Europe, and was under protection of the Czar, in this case Nicholas II. Likewise, Croatia and Slovenia were under the protection of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and its German sphere of influence, under Czar Nicky's cousin, Kaiser Wilhelm, (Willy) . This East-West conflict was a Centuries long tinder box, which the British only needed a spark to set off. Princips "Attentat" accomplished that.
After 5 years of the most destructive war in history, which pulled in the USA under racist Anglophile Woodrow Wilson, and saw the Russians bail out after the Bolshevik Revolution, the Allies dictated the Peace Treaty at Versailles. Under British influence, Wilson agreed to a horrible Treaty which took a destructive revenge upon the Germans, dismantling and taking their factories, their agricultural product, dictating their Economic policies under the rubric of demands for Reparations payments, which imposed awful austerity on the German people. In particular, the demands by the Bank of England caused the Germans to print money, leading to out of control Hyperinflation, in which the German Mark became fuel for people's fireplaces, and stuffing for their furniture. Starvation and Left vs Right Street fighting led to Emergency rule, the debasement of the Weimar Republic, and eventually fueled the rise of the Nazis to power. The British arranged covert financial backing for Hitler assisting his rise, with a plan to let him rearm Germany, turn Eastward, and destroy the Soviet Union. That plan obviously backfired, with Hitler becoming Britain's Frankenstein.
So, two not so coincidental events, on the same date, 5 years apart, in which we reflect upon a British directed assassination and destabilization which caused WWI for geopolitical reasons, and, the so-called Peace Treaty ending that War, which sowed the seeds for a second and even more destructive War. That, under the insane leadership of an out of control British installed puppet Dictator.
This is what Empire systems do to maintain power. They called it "The Great Game". It is based on the principle of "Divide and Conquer". If you make a serious study of history which is driven by a personal commitment to intervene into it in order to change it, as opposed to Academic dilletantism, then, you realize there are ONLY conspiracies in History, both good and bad. To believe otherwise is the essence of paranoia, insofar as one believes that events in history are random, unintelligible, arbitrary, disconnected, unpredictable, or coincidental. A Universe lacking the causality of cognitive intention is one that only exists in a Hitchcock movie, in which you are consumed with fear and anxiety, because you can never actually know what happened, what will happen, or why. Think about it.
