British MI-6 Joins Biden Campaign
Talley Ho, the Hunt is underway! BBC, otherwise known as the public voice of the Liberal Wing of British Inteligence, is about to weigh in on Putin's operations of the last few years.
The opportunity comes with the announcement that relevant Intelligence committees of the British Parliament are releasing their Report on Russian interference in the British Elections, the Brexit referendum, and additional tidbits. This may or may not hurt Boris Johnson, but I don't think that is the intent. If they wanted to pull the plug on Johnson, they would just bring out a Sex Scandal. (They all have one, you know) That's how the British Establishment conducts regime change historically. In the UK, the Queen's tabloid addicted subjects are far more interested in Sex than politics, so it is therefore the preferred way to do a "changing of the guard".
Indeed, as a long time observer, I believe the Brits are bringing this out now to shake up their "Cousins across the Pond", right here in the good old USA. Anything coming from there on Putin is likely designed to strengthen and advance the factional opposition within the US Military/Intelligence Establishment to Trump and his minions here.
It's possible there are some bombshells in the upcoming British Report. Given the timing of its release, before the GOP Convention, I would say that it is likely chock full of scandalous stuff, that will be big news in the UK, and ripple through the European Capitols. However, I believe that the signal being sent here is that the British Establishment is unhappy with where Trump has brought the US, in terms of Superpower relations, US European Economic relations, NATO, the horrific mishandling of the Pandemic, and the imminent danger of their most important ally and protector descending into chaos. I also believe that Security experts are concerned about a potential imminent military strategic move by Putin into Belarus and or Ukraine, targeted on destabilizing Poland, as I warned about last week, and are putting a spotlight on Putin's hostile actions for that reason as well.
Additionally, The British Oligarchy is transitioning to the Reign of Prince William. The Queen will soon be gone, and the Oligarchy intends to make "short shrift" of Charles and Camilla, to move quickly to William. Their decision to exile Andrew from Royal activity is a marker of this transition, like cleaning the trash out of an old stuffy Attic.
Therefore, in most cases, when the BBC and the Parliament decide to break a story of this sort, it is a strategic move, which never occurs in a vacuum. Remember that British Censorship of intelligence matters has always been stronger than here. The "Official Secrets Act" is far more stringent in keeping classified material under seal. They maintain a kind of watered down "lese majeste" system which is designed to protect the Monarchy from press attacks which is occasionally enforced. There really is no tradition of "Woodward and Bernstein" style investigative journalism rooting out corruption in high places there. The Brits sort out their internal issues either with a well timed and placed Intelligence leak, or by arranging for someone to disappear, such as Ghislaine Maxwell's Father, Robert Maxwell, the Mossad agent/Arms trafficker who "slipped and fell off his boat". Just like Ghislaine is likely to fall and hit her head in prison, to protect Prince Andrew. (Just thought I'd throw that in as a zinger) So, a BBC article like this is unusual, and therefore interesting and worth thinking about.
On that note, cheerio, and good hunting.
