A Bit of Our Personal HIstory Fighting Racism, Originally posted May 31

So you want to fight racism? Actually get somewhere? Seriously? Then you are in for a boatload of trouble. Good trouble. Martha and I have some stories to tell.

People who know us know a little bit. We worked with Civil Rights Leaders who were in MLK's inner circle, Veterans of the struggle. We also worked with Third World leaders, including former Presidents, Justice Ministers and UN Ambassadors, working for debt moratorium and economic Justice for poor Countries. That put us in conflict with Henry Kissinger, George H.W.Bush, and the US Establishment.

Kissinger wrote a personal letter to FBI Director William Webster in 1982, asking him to launch an investigation of our organization because we were harassing him. We printed 1 million leaflets after Reagan appointed Kissinger to head the Central American commission, exposing the fact that the Government of Italy was investigating Kissinger in regard to the Red Brigades Murder in 1978 of Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro. We went after him on a number of policy fronts.

Also, a friend of mine confronted Kissinger in the Newark Airport and asked him about Vietnam, and whether he was still fucking little boys with Roy Cohn (then Trump's Lawyer) at the Carlisle Hotel in New York. Kissinger's wife, Nancy, tried to strangle my friend. We charged her with assault and went to court, and of course she was acquitted. So, Reagan signed an Executive Order 12333, which was a Bush operation, which authorized a National Security investigation of our group among other things. We were the main target but not the only ones of that order. EO 12333 became the auspices for what was later known as Iran Contra. That gave them ability to go to FISA court and get wiretaps, surveillance and do covert stuff. All of this is documented in court records, and docs declassified under the Freedom of Information Act. So, things got pretty wild, with the targeting of our fundraisers on phony fraud charges and our publishing. Our field operators were arrested frequently, (Martha and I included) and we had multiple indictments in NY, Boston and Virginia. Friends of ours went to jail for long unjust sentences, innocent. Martha was assaulted by a Federal Postal Police official and faced 10 years in jail. (Case thrown out) An FBI informant (CI) named Liberatore was sent into our regional office in Pittsburgh undercover, and was actually living with Martha and I for 4 months before he exposed himself as a plant, and we threw him out. Martha loves plants, but not that kind. ( also documented) On multiple occasions I had direct harassment by the FBI, who were visiting my contacts, staking out and wiretapping my meetings. One of my best contacts, an Ohio based National Farm leader had the FBI in his living room at the same time I called him where he was being questioned about my discussions and fundraising from him. I was arrested by County Sheriffs when visiting contacts, who were upstairs with their audio equipment waiting for me to bring up financial help. And so on.

So, at one point, two CIA spooks who worked with Ollie North and were employed by Zapata Oil in Texas, the Bush family Company came to our top management and tried to set us up with a sting. They offered us political access if we would fund an attempt to kidnap Soviet Scientist Andrei Sakharov, and sneak him out of the Soviet Union to the West. To this amateur hour nutjob plan, which was never real, just an entrapment, our leadership said "nyet". In our Boston trial, we documented this interlude as part of our defense case to prove we were being targeted by the CIA. We succeeded in getting the Judge to issue a subpoena for the files in VP Bush's office safe. The next morning, the case was declared a mistrial, and was never retried, but was moved to a new venue in Alexandria Virginia, Judge Albert P. Bryan presiding, which was known as the "Rocket Docket". (For the speed of trials and convictions in National Security cases. People went to jail for long sentences, and were railroaded.

Not long after, our outfit published an expose Bio of George Bush, called "The Unauthorized Biography". In it, we exposed the history of the Bush family in supporting the cause of Nazi Race Science, known as Eugenics. A lot of Martha's research went into that book, uncredited. I raised a lot of money to print it, maybe one of the reasons I and my friends were targeted for Federal indictment later in a Philly Grand Jury (dropped after a year) . In this book, we document with government records and the Congressional Record the direct role of George Bush's Father Prescott in financing the Nazi Party and the rise of Hitler, based on his support of Race Science. We dug out records from the Senate hearings chaired by Harry Truman, who was investigating Trading with the Enemy by American businesses during the War with Nazi Germany. The US Senate mandated the seizing of Prescott Bush's shares in the NY Bank Brown Brothers Harriman, because he was as President of that Bank directing loans to the Nazi Steel Industry! Previously, he had made loans to Thyssen Steel, that were laundered into the Nazi Party's campaign funds in 1932.


We also exposed George H.W. Bush's shared commitment to Race Science, through his public endorsement of the Racial Theories of intelligence being pushed by Harvard Professors Shockley and Jensen. He warned in Congressional hearings of the danger of overpopulation in urban areas "causing a downbreeding of the population of the US" Also his role in helping to set up the Infanticide program of China, called the One Child policy during his Ambassadorship to the UN and later to China.

This, my friends, is how we fought racism. This is what you risk if you're serious about it. Why would Martha and I waste our lives and talents chasing around some Beer drinking stupid Rednecks in their pickups with Rebel flags all over them, who are running around in sheets at night when they're not frigging their favorite Pigs in the woods in some scene out of "Deliverance"? We were serious, and made a lot of trouble, and made no money doing it!

So, for a period of about 35 years, we went after the highest levels of the degenerate racist Oligarchy and their evil system, we enlisted extraordinary allies, some very well known people, and we made powerful enemies, and most of the time when we weren't being beaten, threatened, arrested, indicted or having our families harassed, we had kind of a good time. And we are still here. These are just a few anecdotes, maybe they'll be a part 2, maybe I'll even drop some names a little bit. On that note...
