Did Trump Start World War III Today? (written November 18, 2019, reprinted)

From the beginning, thinking people have known that this Presidency embodies everything you don't want. Recklessness, stupidity, self serving aggrandizement of power, mental instability, Malignant Narcissism, Racism, and lack of respect for our Constitutional system, Institutions and traditions. All of which, enabled by his family and closest confidants. Now, you have an announcement today which represents the single most destructive policy that a President can announce, short of issuing orders to SAC to launch a pre-emptive Nuclear attack somewhere. There are two immediate beneficiaries of this move. Vladimir Putin, and Donald Trump. Emphatically, Israel is being used as a Pawn in a maneuver, whose ultimate purpose is to rescue Donald Trump. And Israel will suffer the most. 

First and foremost, this proposal gives the Right Wing Religious factions in the Israeli government and Military a Green light to send tanks and bulldozers into the West Bank and Occupied territories to begin again demolishing Palestinian homes, and building new settlements. This is a prelude to a forced mass expulsion of Palestinian Arabs from Israel into Jordan, a devastating humanitarian crisis should it go this far. The only possible result from this action will be to provoke the largest and most protracted, destructive Intifada (Palestinian uprising) yet seen, with casualties and damage that will eclipse all those past. This will have the additional effect of disrupting the current Parliamentary negotiations on forming a new Israeli government, such that the previously expected outcome of the ouster of Right Wing criminal, Netanyahu, could be thrown out, and he would be brought back to head an emergency war time cabinet. Make no mistake about it. If Netanyahu comes back and his legal issues buried, his next step will be an IDF full scale attack on Iran. This is what today's announcement opens the door for. 
Now, the question,  how does Trump benefit from this? First, is that it changes the subject from Impeachment. Second, it gives him leverage, in that he has even more latitude to attack his enemies, Democratic and Republican alike, as being "anti Israel, or anti Jewish", for wanting to impeach him or opposing his policies. It gives him a red Cape to wave at his base of support among Christian Evangelical Fundamentalists who claim to be more Pro Israel than the Israelis. They certainly raise more money for their mega churches off of their partnership with the Israeli Right Wing. That is the base of money and manpower Trump needs to weather the Impeachment and win in 2020. These things were all factored in by Trump and his son in law Kushner, who undoubtedly is the architect of this atrocious and destabilizing move. Remember that everything Trump does now is entirely based on self preservation. A huge conflict in this part of the world is the global National Security crisis he needs to hang on to and expand his power. This is what Barr was pushing for in his Federalist Society speech.

And, you ask, how does this benefit Putin? Well, strategically it serves several ends...it sows enough chaos in the region that Russia's positions and assets in the region can be strengthened, as the US discredits itself. It fuels the armed resistance to US presence and hinders all attempts to conduct diplomacy, burying US relations with moderate Arab regimes. Also strategically, it is a major repudiation of our working relations with our European allies, whose interests are being ignored, and who were not consulted or in agreement, which benefits Russia as well if our relations with our NATO allies are further ruptured.. It repudiates all US and allied policy since the adoption of UN resolutions and Peace agreements of the past 40 years which the US was party to. It is completely unprovoked, there is no strategic reason for this whatsoever, other than to rescue Trump and Netanyahu from their futures in Jail. And finally, it continues to further Putin's operation since 2015 to bolster Trump in the US, since he is a Russian asset, and to escalate the division of the American people against themselves, using the long standing tactic of starting a War and National crisis, (especially one with Religious factors) to sow chaos. 
As we all should have expected, Trump is irrational enough to light the fuse on the Middle East War Tinderbox in order to increase his power and survive. This is the only issue in the Impeachment and 2020 election, as of this moment.

Milton Friedman- The Man Who Revived Fascist Economics, and Called It "Freedom".

  You may have heard the name before, as he was featured in a PBS Series, titled "Free To Choose", also the title of his most famous and misnamed book. He was a prolific author, and widely publicized by Conservative News Media and Magazines, especially by the followers of William F. Buckley. In fact, Milton Friedman is the current top economic advisor to the so-called "movement conservatives", from Nixon to Reagan, to Newt Gingrich and Trumpworld,  and is still to this day the main architect of the GOP approach to dealing with the present economic crisis, though he has been keeping a low profile. A very low profile. In fact, six feet under. How Do You Know If What You Are Reading Is True Or Useful? - A One Year Old Facebook Post

 How do we know whether what we are reading is true, or for that matter useful? There are many journalists in the US today who are not only excellent writers, but are just good people. They are well informed, have the best intentions and are highly professional.  I have to force myself to write, and it comes with great difficulty because I am blocked, and had little journalistic training. Without an editor I feel lost, and feel as though I want to rewrite everything or throw it out after I read it. Reading books and articles is my favorite hobby, and when I'm doing that I am in my happy place.  As of now I have 30 News and Magazine sites bookmarked and I read them everyday as a routine. I usually read anywhere from 2-10 articles in each, depending upon what newsworthy events are breaking that day. Plus I have a number of books on history that I have going at any one time.
